So i'm playing dust ambush just called a tank in an start taking out the enemy tank which need one more shot then bam!!!
A giant ass mosquito is coming strait at me. I jump out my seat to find something to smash it with, I find something then i turn around to find and kill it.

(This is were i got scared i mean when i turn around this thing is almost in my face like what kind of mosquito hunts its prey really i though they wait for you to go to sleep.)

Then i move to side lock on then hit it after that nothing this thing is no were to be seen So now i'm in my room scared to go to sleep i don't want to be violated by a bug.

I almost forgot this f*cker just lost me a valuable kill and tank.

The second change we made is to the weapon proficiency skills. At the moment, they give a flat bonus to damage with a specific weapon. With Uprising 1.8 these bonuses are being changed, and will only give a bonus to attacking either shields or armor. This applies to all weapons other than the Nova Knife (which retains the damage bonus). HereGÇÖs the breakdown of the new bonuses:

Bonus to damage against shields: Plasma Cannon, Scrambler Pistol, Assault Rifle, Shotgun, Scrambler Rifle, Laser Rifle, Ion Pistol
Bonus to damage against armor: Rail Rifle, Swarm Launcher, Submachine Gun, Sniper Rifle, Magsec SMG, Heavy Machine Gun, Forge Gun, Flaylock Pistol, Combat Rifle, Bolt Pistol, Mass Driver

Man, I'm gonna leave the drama alone on this one.... and yeah, why IS it always the shotgun? We have some pretty good scout feuds in the works here....

As for the precision, the asymmetry does bother me a bit but I can see the issue that was brought up if the scan precision was lowered to 35. Situational awareness is so key....

Maybe a reduction to 40 would be more appropriate. Given that the scan modules give 5% less bonus than their equivalent tier dampening modules this would still require one to spend more slots to augment the more useful precision stat in the race of stealth v.s. awareness.

I'd have to disagree with this Drift. I can see a couple of issues it introduces to scouts, but the main problem is that it completely destroys medium vs light balance.

By making scout base scan precision 35, a medium with level 5 dampening and a complex dampener would be visible by any scout with level 3 precision enhancement, or a level 1 Caldari scout. Mediums would be in a worse situation than they are with the current Active Scanner spam.

And on the scout side, the balance should be to favour dampening over precision. I'm not sure if the current numbers are the best balance, but the benefits of precision far out way the benefits of dampening. Not being seen is useful, but really only puts you at a level playing field with other scouts or mediums/heavies with low visibility. Being able to see your opponents passively from range is a massive advantage.
