Since Uprising 1.2, the Scout Community's average KDR dropped by 0.01.
There is currently a 0.20% chance of encountering a Scout with 20,000+ kills.
Scouts with over 1,000 kills account for under 2% of Dust's player base.
60% of known Scouts have a KDR under 2.0. 83% under 3.0. 94% under 5.0.

Assumes an active Dust 514 player base of 5,000.

Notes:

1) Registration Criteria
Participation is restricted to active Uprising Scouts, defined as players using a Scout or Light Suit the majority of his/her time in combat since Uprising. Any Scout meeting the above criteria may register via thread response.

2) Errors, Omissions and Opt-Out
This Registry is based primarily upon member in-game observation, user feedback and forum activity. Please append this thread if you have recently opted in to or out of the Scout Suit, or have otherwise been included or excluded in error.

3) Updates
The Scout Registry / Killboard will be updated no less than once per week.

On another note - this is the first time I've actually looked at this thread and it's a really cool idea but I think you should rank people by total WP rather than kills, so that scouts like myself who concentrate on hacking and useful uplinks are better represented. Its generally been a place where quiet, assassin types would hang out and chitchat or occasionally squad up to terrorize pub matches. Seriously, everyone here should try -- at least once -- running with a squad of 4-6 scouts. It was an absolute blast in Uprising and Uprising 1.1. You guys will have to tell me about 1.2, cause I'm stuck on a dang beach with my (currently sleeping) girlfriend 'til Sunday. Mollerz, you'd make a great CPM Liaison for your Minja Brothers. I don't fear them. period. if their using nova knives then you just back peddle, and they physically cant hit you. If their using shotguns then you just cut the pie and 9/10 they wont finnish you before you finnish them. If their using anything short of a proto suit its a five shot kill MAX. The only time their particularly tough is when their speed tanking with a shotgun, but this generally costs them health and makes them even easier to kill if I can land the shot. so yeah..... scouts aren't tough. but then again there still missing a lot of modules and such.

You're absolutely correct that current killboard does not account for doing scoutly things like speed hacking and tossing ULs. Haven't made up my mind just yet so someone talk me out kf it T-T Okay... let me do the talking here, fellow scout, but this could be difficult since this is the best medium suit for speed. ;) I have tried the Minmitar Militia medium suit because on paper it looks good given it's larger health buffer for shields and armor, and it's passive armor repair. And, I think if you are going to play as a fast assault, there are a lot of benefits to this suit. At proto level with the 5 highs lots you can viably shield tank and add damage mods. With the low slots you can increase your armor reps, total armor HP, or add stamina / kin/cat mods..... not a bad suit at all!!! You can play as a fast assault or you can really tank this thing if desired. Personally, I missed the jumping, stamina and got tired of being easier to hit in this suit though.... But, how do you want to play? Are you used to running scout fast? Are you used to being able to jump over railings and those cement barrier things? Do you enjoy knowing that while you hack an objective you'll more than likely notice anyone trying to sneak up on you before they get too close? Do you like having fast as crap shield recharge? Do you like being hard to spot on radar? Do you like having a smaller hitbox? If you like that stuff.... consider this instead: Note that this is meant to be a replacement for a meduim suit that a scout user can use. I.E., a more robust, slower suit that someone who is used to scout tactics can make work effectively. Just grab either the ADV Min/Gal suit and stack 2 complex shield extenders in the high slots, and forgo the usual stamina/speed mods in the low. Go with a basic armor plate and the best armor repper you can fit. With the scouts already awesome shield delay/recharge, smaller hitbox, better base stamina and speed... the addition of 60-70 armor, armor reps and a valid shield buffer makes all the difference. It's not a suit for going toe to toe with 2 assault guys.... but for when I'm running with a squad of assaults and I want to play more as an "assaulty", or if I'm doing some medium range AR stuff (like on top of those pipes in that one city may w/ the 5 objectives closeby) it's what I use. For me, it's suprisingly effective (and i can still be way more mobile than the assault guys). And, I don't need to invest in any of those junky medium frames..... I stay true to being a scout. And, I look cool as ****.... and.... well you get the point. Light is right, I just can't go back. Every other suit is a compromise. Even the Minnie medium frame.... (this is what I do) Just tank your scout suits.

A few weeks back we created a 6-person squad of Plasma Cannon-only. It was hilarious and fun, but more than that it was devastatingly effective. Since Getting my Shotgun Operations III I have squad'ed with my brothers Obi-won Jacobi and DJINN Marauder: 3 shotguners in a squad is scary and I would never want to be on the other side of that. sadly for me I just picked up the scraps as far as kills went. Marauder getting the most shotgun kills, Obi with more kills because he got the orbitals, and me with neither :p Also posted my opinion of the Scouts in that CPM thread.

Dom. it's a bit harder, for the number of hostiles in one spot. In OMS, it's amazing, but there's no point. It's really hard to notice other scouts doing the same, but I'm positve it happens. In skirm. I tip my hat to those scouts who go across the map with their one-equipment backpacks and hack that point. It's truly a small blessing. I turn the tide in our favor and win. I can see this clearly. Sometimes when I go CQs, I am glad for the brave folks who hack objectives across the map it helps a ton!

Sometimes when all the objectives are red and your team is struggling to make headway, if you can make it past the front and get to a far enemy objective and drop an uplink or hack that CRU, your team just pours back in and the fight is ON! It's such a great feeling, and I really enjoy it!
