I've always ran a G/1.
Never claimed to be great at fitting a suit, just alright at making stuff work for me.
I started running into assaults with like a K in hp and pink(ish) standard heavies with like 1200 or so hp
Looked at my adv weapons and said nope. Time to upgrade.
Was using the creodron sg but couldn't get the ishukone nks to fit with it haha

I encountered Duna with his squads back in 1.7.
The general strategy with his tactics is "protect Duna at all costs".
One match in early 1.7 I was with some friends and he had his tank squad.
The map was Spine Cresent. I sat on alpha with a proto assault forge firing out between the gaps in the walls, with an assault player dealing with infantry for me so I could concentrate on tanks (it was a pretty good assault player I must admit, they went like 30/2 if memory serves). And the rest of the squad locked down Echo and Delta.
Anyway. It was early in 1.7 and everyone was running rep tanked blaster somas, nobody was getting into rails yet so none of them were able to return fire from range, I lost track of how many of his corp kiddies I killed but I never got Duna, they would literally be driving over the top of each other, so I'd hit one then the other. Anyways, we won the match heartily because they couldn't even get close without me immediately concentrating fire on Duna which would cause them all to back up. They ended up hanging out in and around the back side of the B/C facility. So 6 players on the enemy team weren't doing **** because 5 of them were protecting one of them from just one of us. It was pretty funny. If they'd just bum rushed us they could've gotten through but I think they were a bunch of FotM chasers who didn't know what they were doing.
I had a similar situation with AE tank spam, sitting on top of a building doing my damnedest to keep about 6 tanks at bay in an ambush match. I was doing a bloody good job, keeping the tanks away from my blues, almost no missed shots, evading return fire. I was really kicking ass. Even forge sniped a couple of infantry.
In the end they lost about 6 dropships trying to get an assault up to me to take me out. Which he finally did at the end of the game. I went like 4/3 that match with 200wp at the bottom of the goddamn leaderboard on the losing team and got like a 60k payout. Because somebody decided to drag their feet on WP for vehicle damage.
Sorry bringing up Duna brings up a lot of angry memories, and not just at Duna Corp, even some supposedly "awesome players" tank spammed like bitches. (Don't confuse this for tank hate, there's tanking and then there's KDR padding, I've done my share of tanking in PC, even ended up as one of our tanking trainers weirdly).
TL:DR I used to be damn good with a forge until sheer frustration of getting 0 rewards for running AV I dropped it for 6 months and now I can't hit ****.

GA and CA Scouts need one damp to dodge 21dB scans; MN and AM need two. This is the new number to beat. You'll still get scanned by GA Logi + Duvolle Focused (15dB) as well as the majority of inner rings (9-25dB, 5-12m).

What's the best equipment for WP/Isk farming? It has to be militia. I used to use nanite injectors but since they made it so you have to call a logi to be revived it's been really inconsistent. I'm thinking repair tool?

How much WP does being squad lead get you? Any time you want me to squad just for the extra WP let me know. I have little reason for isk or WP concerns as I have plenty of bpo's to make free fits and my 2 apex scouts when i need isk. SP is only for leveling up things I wont use now as I have what I need and want maxed.

Honestly I have no idea, I usually defer SL to somebody else, and last time I did I wasn't getting much in the way of commissions. I appreciate the offer though, I'll hit you up next time I'm on. Maybe it's time to start grinding out an apex suit, they seem like a pretty sweet deal.
