This aim assist bs needs to go I just lost 3 mill in 3 matches

I've run into similar issue. Been forced to downgrade to using more basic/BPO fits because of this.

I've had success today (2-5 KDR) with the following cheap fit (under 30k):

Adv Gal Shotgun Scout

• Two Complex Extenders
• Dren/Standard Shotgun
• Toxin/Standard SMG
• Locus Nade
• Complex KinCat
• Militia CPU Chip

No equipment though. I'd like to at least fit an AVD scanner to know what areas to avoid.
And I've had more success dropping the kincats and fitting complex cardiac regulators instead.

Switched to Lasers and the auto assist let me melt serious faces during my lunch break. Paired it with an SMG and an Active Scanner and at worst I broke even. I am not even skilled into lasers and was just using my free burnstalks I got a while back. I imagine Lasers are going to be the new FOTM this build.

Downside is I was still in a Scout suit lol... I imagine if I had been in an Assault I would have had nearly zero deaths. Took some getting used to also. Had to run away right after using the dang thing every time cause its like lighting a flaming arrow in the dark saying HERE I AM! COME KILL ME!

Shotty can you add Cirandelas to the registry? Is there something I need to do?

1. What you just said is impossible.

2. Passive scan range is terribad and anyone saying otherwise has never sat down and looked at the numbers and then looked at what that corresponds to in game.

3. Even if you have level 5 in range amp and you fit 2 complex range mods (fills all your lows in an advanced suit) You at most have 40 m radius and just hamstrung yourself in terms of your lows. No kincats or armor plates. That doesn't work (well not very well at any rate).

Also, precision without skill is 45 dB for all suits. At full skill that turns to ~40 dB add one complex mod and you get ~32 dB.

In a full proto scout with level 3 in profile dampening you have a profile of ~31 dB without any modules. No scout with skill in dampening will ever show up on your radar unless you go HEAVY into precision enhancers. Even then if you add one complex dampener to any suit you get to ~31 dB (non-scout) or ~23 dB (level 5 racial scout).

Sure if you want to waste space on your suit and you don't want to show up on anyones minimap ever....go for it. But my advice is to stick with buffer modules (shield/armor) and range amplifiers.

I just played a game with the "gonna die anyway" philosophy and infiltrated a strongpoint, laid some RE love for the folks..... and murder-death-killed to some happy results. Most importantly for me at least it was fun, stealth worked, minor upgrade to passive scan made a world of difference.

Going to try out the REs now that i got my range.sounds like a fun role to play

Not impossible because I'm doing it. Not on advanced suit with a proto gallente scout. Neo suits at lvl 3

You can think its broke all you want. This was not based off numbers it from 2 days testing with 50 neo suits.

So you did some 'science'? (asking honestly) Is this confirmed that you can see people at 60 m with only lvl 3 in racial scouts? Are you using 3-4 range amplifiers? I'm just trying to get the math on what we have to line up with what you're saying. Do you have any extra skill in precision enhancers?

Do scouts ever show up on your passives with your set up? This is the especially important question as it will tell us very important information of how eWAR is working. Are these scouts in frame suits or are they skilled into racials or dampening? These are need to know items. To understand the system and build the most efficient fittings we need to know if passives are black and white (if your profile is below your precision you never show up / less likely to show up) or some probability driven mechanic.

I'm willing to kick in some ISK, say 1 mill, if someone can give me video data that answers some of these questions.

Anyone having any luck with Knives this patch? Been doing horrible with my fitting from last patch. Thinking about ditching them completely for the time being and putting SP into Shotguns to go with my SMG and possibly going Gallente Light up to ADV as well. No point in staying Minmatar if i'm not using my knives

yes, i have range lvl 5 and use 3 complex range. lvl 3 precision using 1 advanced precision enhancer and it covers my back side very well too.

I see scouts but not as much and they are not as brightly lit most of the time. quessing the closer to beating my precision they don't show as bright. if your hunting other scouts your best bet is logi suit or duvolle focused scanner.
