Wut!? Shotty go bang, ellithana Mori, and stellios are still beastly. I'm sure radar and sha would disagree, same with marauder, they use them effectively, but its tough. |

A man so humble he warms my heart, WTF man. Pro hic is lucky to have a shotty scout with a kdr over 2. It's much tougher than nova knifing on minja suits or using the flaylocks like many do. A scout shotty with a 2.2 kdr...pretty damn good yo. IMO |

The purpose, as far as I understand, is to attempt to get an accurate reading of the percentage of players who are using a particular class, namely the Scout, which, along with the heavy, has been in sharp decline in recent times due to a series of...undesirable changes. |

Scout rating: THIS SUIT SUCKS. I wish i could respec in to Minmatar Logi or Assault to use shotguns.

Ghost reporting in.
Just about a month deep into the game and about 2.5k Kills deep (1.4 k/d, 1.5 W/L)
ADV Minja with Knives, Scanners, and SMG's.
For those who haven't used scanners, they are excellent in finding the "hole" in the enemy line. Scan away and slip in to do some massive knifing. The run away screaming when people finally get whats up lol. |

I havent reached proto yet but I cant theoretically justify using it on my sneaky scout. The one extra high slot can give some more shields but really not enough to make a considerable difference given price of the suit.
If you are an assassin then Adv Knives are good enough imo and std remote explosives do just fine. My suit is 21k and I cant see how proto will make me more deadly given the jump in cost. |

just found this thread.
durring the last month before the fall of Chromosome, I was playing a Logi for a bit because I knew we were getting an SP refund, but before that I only had used the Gallente Scout before.
I only bought about 20 of each Gallente Light Frames, then went straight for Gallente Scout. didin't even look at the stats. No regrets.
I have the dragonfly assault and the Covenant Assault suits, so I do on occasion stray from my path. Real money suits should not be wasted.
But so yeah, 99% of the time I'm in a Gallente Scout suit.
At time of post: Kills 10840, Deaths 4277, KDR 2.53, WPs 936836
Don't trust the KDR though. I intentionally keep the KDR at around 2.5, (with pics) I committed suicide 10 times in a single match so I could get a perfect 4000 deaths and 10000 kills.
I'm either playing the proto version of the Arbitrator or the proto version of the Hunter. or running in a Dragonfly for ***** and giggles |

I've been using Minmatar scouts since the official "release", pretty much. Manage a 1.43-ish KDR as a shotgun scout/SMG scout. I'm closing in on 1000 kills, last I checked.
In 90% of tha battles I've been in, I've got the only scout suit on my team. Feels good, until I get murdered. Then I realize why I'm the only scout on the team... |

Shotties are much easier to use than knives. Trust me, I've maxed both, with knives, a shotgunner is the worst enemy you can run into on the field. If you don't get em first hit, you're dead.
We need officer knives and shotties!
