Last night i was dropped into perhaps the most amusing pub match in awhile.
dropped in a bit late not much but enough that the beginning objectives were being hacked.
So I start on my way, I see a scout cool

You should play Caldari FW. There are Nova Knifers everywhere on the other team!
And they even brought Eve support. WHY THE HELL WOULD ANYONE NEED EVE SUPPORT FOR THE EASIEST FW IN DUST?!

I made an alt for Nos Nothi that is a Minmatar Scout currently running the MK-1(name of first Minmatar Scout suit?). And it's aching inside my Gallentian heart, I miss him so. Mostly because of the vastly better Profile Dampening, I really despise every nut running around doing the "360-¦ Scan Dance"..
However I suppose they will fix it somehow in the upcoming patch. Anyone knows anything about it? |

Yeah some good changes. Not everything I wanted but its a step closer to not making them the goto equipment for every fight.

I had to clear at least 5 objectives of REs (I was yelling at my team constantly to check before hacking, not that it helped) before I could hack them back from you. Killed myself once because I stood too close with my shotgun....Scouts are bastards to try and play against. |

Increasing the damage for a pistol on a scout is extremely dangerous. If they want more damage they should risk their tank. I ran pistols and knives for a long time and even with zero proficiency skills an ADV pistol will give a proto suit witha proto weapon with proper skills invested a large run for it's money.
A scout with an extra 10% plus 10% for a damage mod plus cloaking with a pistol would be absolutely ridiculous.
Plus we need to be careful how we buff marauder.

Pistol is on the cusp of the nerf hammer right nowGǪ this would likely push it right on to the anvil. Though with the new pistols coming out it may notGǪ really depends on how those perform.

Damage mods will no longer be 10% at complex. Also TTK is getting increased, partially with some weapons getting base damage nerfs, so hard to tell which weapons will still be as powerful as they currently are.
Though I ultimately agree that damage bonuses are very dangerous. An ammo capacity bonus on the other hand would be nice, since the scrambler pistol does chew through its batteries.
