It's the reason nova knives and cloak aren't godly as shotgun and cloak.

Agreed. I don't own proto swarms but the swarms are usually only needed as a finisher.

Cheers guys. I've got a bomber fit that uses cloak + REs + flux that I break out for single tankers. The AV fit is for when I'm trying to distract multiple tanks to give my blues a chance to make a breakout, so I need the hives to restock the swarm and REs. To be honest the main use of the swarm at this point is to make sure they know which direction to chase me...next to useless for killing anything.
Good advice on waiting on the REs, most of the time they get away before I can finish them with the swarm. Might change it to drop REs, flux, swarm and then detonate and see if I can get a few more kills.

The charge mechanic is actually part of the reason I used those two examples, I was wondering if even with weapons that are known to have a charge mechanic would people assume the cloak aided me somehow.

Sure, I've used scout since beta, but the forums only became useful to me as of recently. I missed the boat for that monument, but so what? It's a forum post! It's not like we get our names in the game credits, so why complain?

Because thye just see a list and want to be on it. There's a war-room post commemorating the top snipers in DUST. Plenty of guys wanted to be on that. because it was a list and they wanted recognition.
The desperation to be on that list was really sad. I didn't even know about it until someone told me I was on it.

Well to be fair the list was never meant for recognition. It was meant to track the downfall/changes of scouts across builds. IRC the trend was downward until Shotty finally gave up on providing input as it seemed to fall on deaf ears.
It is a memoriam afterall, you can't "go back" as your stats were never tracked.

Been having a lot of fun with my Min Scout alt account (Logic), so want it on my main account.
Using this week's SP to get level 3 Min Scout with my Cal Scout character (Ghetto).
Still have the proto Min suits from the Shinobi awards, although I don't like using proto in pubs.
Currently have a "hard mode" fit with Adv Min Light frame with no cloak  .
Pimps don't cry.

I know! He would have totally lived if I hadn't been wearing a cloaked scout suit!!
Page 666 for the win.... but logging in this morning I see all my dragonfly fits are no longer valid? I take a look and it's back to the 2H/2L/2EQ layout.... and the regular G-1 is 1H/2L/2EQ.....
what the heck, CCP? Now i've gotta go look at other parts of the forum to see what's going on....

I am lucky i still am skilled into both of those suits at Proto, so I get to use them up
Not going through them very fast either.
I use them in FW mostly or when I am up against a stacked team I sometimes use them. So I sit at 300 Minja and 340 some odd Spooks

I only came onto the forums because the game had taken such a fuckin nose dive in every measurable metric. The barbershop was like a de facto meeting spot for a disaster and scouts were the victims.
The funny thing is the game is, for all purposes, exactly the same as 1.0 save a few stats, a couple weapons, and a couple suits.
