Anyone else think prof isn't worth the SP? Not to say that it should be changed back but I don't personally want to use my SP for it. Maybe I should use my SP on things like ammo and optimization?

The range boost is substantial. All CCP would have to do to fix the brick tanking problems is to increase the PG of the HP mods so that you could realistically only fit one on a single suit. I need help Ammo and reload to level three isn't a terrible investment, if you dont have any other priorities and you're happy with the weapon selection you have. Otherwise, have you considered some of the more situational weapons, like the nova knife? Knowledge is power

I also have about 20 or so proto AUR knives left from the event a while back. Unfortunately I'm a bit of a try hard so I don't really run them too often lol.
