Lag knifing is a totally different game 
Last week I had a match and knife fights against some scouts where the lag was brutal. I could actually detect when one was around just by the lag 
Pretty sure they were having the same effectGǪ Found one going all Blair Witch in a corner, stabbed them full charge 6 timesGǪ nothing, then we snapped back to new positions and the real fight continued.
With the way the cloak looks, and my intended use of it, I don't think I am going to need to proto cloak. I suppose it depends on if a bonus is attached to the skill it may be useful. Right now just not seeing a point to going full out on it for me.

Every time I pull out the boomstick, I'd wish I'd had Knives or a Rifle instead.

But seriously, I am constantly amazed how many Medium Frame suits just let me sneak up behind them. I have been having a surprising amount of success flanking and sneaking behind enemy lines in my Dren Sentinel with one Kinetic Catalyser.
I also wanted to comment in here that since the HMG fix Scouts seem to be back in their rightful place as the counter to heavies. With the HMG working properly Scouts with their greater speed and smaller hit box are a lot harder to hit than medium frame suits. Killing an Assault suit fills me with satisfaction, killing a scout fills me with relief. You guys scare me. |

You do know that passive scanning is rubbish.
Just thankful I will be getting a further bump in radius to hopefully catch a few more people I should easily see 
- But the best method is still manual scanning ie head on a swivel and good eye sight.

There are a lot of duplicate BPOs out there but there are BPOs for Gallente Scout, Gallente Assault, Caldari Assault, Amarr Assault, Minmatar Logi, Amarr Logi, and Amarr Sentinel.
BPOs that I have duplicates of: Caldari Assault, Gallente Scout, SMG, AR, Sniper Rifle, Scrambler Pistol, Laser Rifle
BPO I would trade any one of those for: Daemon Shotgun
BPO I would trade any weapon BPO for: Dren Shotgun

lol Shotty no! It'll be ok. The Shotgun is the new Scout. Woefully underpowered but you can still get great scores with it.

Really? I would think scouts should love the existence of active scanners because it helps makes you unique. While everyone is flashing like a light bulb, scouts can easily avoid even the most top-end scanners with a few skills. That gives you a distinct advantage.
