Another interesting way of looking at the black eagle, is that it has the armor gallente scout AND the base shield minmatar scout.
It has the base armor of gallente : 130 However, it also has the shield of minmatar: 100
sadly, it does not have the base speed of minmatar. black eagle base speed = 5.45 minmatar = 5.65

Defending friendly objectives is also really helpful as then you don't need a scanner. Try and stay away from enemy objectives of possible.
My fit. Adv winmitar 2x complex shields Ishy knives Exile ar Compact nano Green pill Enh plate
Use the compact for armor reps and stick it close to where you are engaging. When closing the distance to an enemy do so at a very wide angle so they don't spot you.

Fully charged shot is the 320 number. The minimum charge is like 175~ish, don't remember the exact number anymore

Someone please check my math on the scout v. scout scenario that follows:
A Gallente scout with lvl 5 racial and lvl 5 dampening running a basic damp module cannot be seen by another Gallente scout NO MATTER WHAT.
A Gallente scout with lvl 5 racial and lvl 5 precision running one basic precision mod can see a Gallente scout with racial/dampening 5/5 with no damp modules...but even with two complex precision mods cannot see the same scout with a basic damp module.
Bottom line: Basic precision and basic damp pay the only return on investment. Anything stronger is overkill and a waste of cpu. |

I am with you, already got enough enough kills for 20 Quafe suits. That is if you will allow me in your purple/pink scout squad as I am not the typical scout running AR as my main weapon
Or I could support you with my pro logi ready to revive and repair if you keep me safe from flanking red dots. I have already got spoiled with the huge passive scan range on the scout suit. |

I particularly like the first one
1) Profile Signature and Precision drop down from 45 to 40
- Doing this will save cpu and will functionally give the scout one extra low slot
--40 (.9) (.75 )= 27,
- Which is dead on where it needs to be considering the high level of sp investment it takes to get it there to beat a cheaper equipment item. This is also useful since high slot scouts (min/cal) will be suffering choice wise since low slots are so important (its why the gal is better than the min at the moment), it also frees up the gal scout for better cqc survival.
- Reduce Dampening mods by a factor of 5% to bring them in line with precision enhancers. This will also reduce the logi/medium "scout" phenomena, while making it hard for the scout to beat the focus
2) Base Stamina increase from 200 to 300
- This increases sprint duration from 20 seconds to 30 seconds
- Since CCP has a very low unofficial and now untested speed cap, stamina can be used to help alleviate the issue
3) Increase movement/sprint by .5 for each scout, and see how well that works
-The hit detection can account for this small increase
4) Fall Damage needs to be reduced by 80%
-Because of its current iteration, scouts one main defensive feature is cut incredible short due to this short fall, in fact the scout under duress has less escape options than the other dropsuits due to the high cost of fall damage on the scout.
Wild Card
Stealth Hacking- Doesn't notify that an objective is being hacked until it enters the contested state
I like this one because this would make scouts extremely useful in PC/FW/Skirmish on this factor alone.

CCP needs to change the objective spawning (make skirmish letters like domination letters)
CCP also needs to change how installations/objectives pick up your profile signature
with the installation/objective problem i'd be happy if it was based profile signature and if your below say 35db you cant be picked up

That is not entirely true, the proto scout can very well proto stomp mlt and standard mercenaries. It becomes more challenging and should be against advanced and proto assault types. Here the scout has to play smart to beat the stronger assault builds and use his advantage in speed and stealth to win. A proto scout can easily outtank and outdamage militia builds, no need to play smart, just use tachnet to avoid bigger groups of new players.
I say we run our proto scout squad in FW if we can agree on which faction to fight for.
But scout protostomping as a group of caldari logi can is not possible |
