Post constructively often?

I simply punctuate my posts with ad hominen, it's simply my style of writing, and I haven't been warned about it yet. I did not attack anyone personally I attacked their skill in the game, it's a game forum it's fine to question the skill of others within the game. It's been done a million times, probably even in this thread.

I never posted a rant, I posted a well thought out list of facts that supported an assertion by another player that this is in fact a "scout circlejerk." I posted it as constructively and as factual as I could, but such an assertion isn't simply made without any emotion. Plainly playful banter doesn't need to have profanity, don't blame me for reporting him, blame him for posting.

If you believe this thread to be cancerous, then why is it that you're always here? Do you find it cancerous at all times, or only at times when your friends come under scrutiny? "Outsiders" pop in regularly and -- so long as they don't post or pitch something stupid or false -- they are generally well received. Have you considered the possibility that your friends might be better received if they didn't show up saying stupid and/or false things?

Kirk's performance today was less than laudable; CPM is all about hearing and responding to player opinions; when Kirk heard mine, he responded by pitching a fit and hurling insults at the Barbershop.

If Kirk truly intends to run, he'd do well sell himself as open-minded, empathetic and cool-headed, despite a history of evidence to the contrary. He'd do well to respond gracefully when questioned about Gallente bias and loosing his cool. And if Team Gallente intends to circle wagons when Kirk is floundering, you guys would do well to teach Zatara and Cat Merc more advanced maneuvers than poop-flinging and derp-bombing.

All of these questions cannot be answered by anyone who doesn't work at CCP.
These all depend on how the game's various systems are built, dependencies, workarounds they used in the past, etc'.
Games are just built differently from each other, and they all present different challenges for the developers.

Sad news. I may not be able to play Dust for long. Keep getting an issue with the leaderboard loading up when I sprint. I'd put it down to the controller being wonky (It's older than the ps3 itself) but it doesn't cause any problems with any other game, and I plugged in the newer, shinier one and it didn't change.

So yeah, gonna post about it in the bugs but if it doesn't change then welp.

I have not forgotten your efforts to balance scouts however that's not really pertinent to my answer. Simply you are attempting to defend a scout-centric thread comprised of other scout-centric players talking about scouts being scouts in a semi closed off community*, etc. You surely can understand why when certain statements are made on the part of this thread others with contrary opinions might consider your opinions biased and logic flawed.

Again not to devalue your efforts because Rattati places great faith in your all. But the question was not what I think but what other might think.

Personal preference really I'd think. I'd go for the siren from silent hill when I toss an RE and the jaws theme when I'm running with knifes. The intensity varying on the range to the victim of course. XD Ilike the idea though, that's less editing haha

The problem of getting leaderboard and/or map is a common one. It happens to me ALL THE TIME, especially when in a dropship. It also does NOT happen with ANY other game I play on PS3.

I am convinced the issue is the following:
The 'tolerance' setting for the DS3 is VERY VERY Granular. I have this hunch that in an effort to have tighter controls they've set the analog settings for the buttons to be too sensitive, allowing certain amounts of static or even squeezing the controller to set off certain buttons.

The saddest part of all is that the D-PAD soooo doesn't need any special sensitivity. Eitherway, it's a common bug that happens to us all, you are not alone. Many have tried to get it fixed, but it's not easily reproduced.

The mroe Zatara campaigned, the more found myself second-guessing this initial impression; two weeks prior to the elections, I scratched out the above line and moved Zatara from "No" to "Undecided". When Arkena asked what prompted the change in tone, I did not respond. What happened was that a campaigning Zatara convinced me that he could keep his ego in check, actually listen to people, and not behave like a child tyrant. He campaigned well and campaigned convincingly. Seems he sincerely tried for awhile following the elections, but eventually his true colors began to bleed through.

Exactly. you failed voter 101. You need to ignore everything a candidate has done after they have declared that they are running for office. Because they will always, always, revert to form, once elected.
