Please punch holes. I don't think we can balance with the current ewar model so lets just stop debating it. I'm tired of being forced to run damps to remain viable on the field. Truth is, I think requiring cloak is the best way to implement scout bonuses. I don't care what appia says. Allowing a really strong bonus for 30 seconds is a great way to sacrifice a slot IMO. Having a wave of opportunity is hallmark if a scout suit.

Until I bluntly state "I can't talk about that" then it is an open topic. There may well be a lot of "I don't have any new information yet" responses depending on how often I'm pinged on something but there are a ton of things on the go and it is in my view 100% legit to prod your friendly neighborhood CPM (in this case me) to make sure the specific question isn't getting lost in the shuffle somehow. You know how on your first mission you faced 4 sectoids? On the easiest Long War difficulty you face 10, and they had more hp, better abilities and tougher AI. And that in a nutshell is Long War. IMHO the easy setting in Long War is harder than classic in Enemy Within. Though I've never even tried a game without Ironman on. We'll bang, OK?

As far as I can tell, FoTM tactics haven't changed; all the Nyain San "Scouts" I encounter at still stacking plates. I think he's mocking the attitude that the majority of the community has towards us...really, what it comes down to is them thinking that if you aren't fitting full proto damps on a proto scout, you shouldn't be viable, mainly because they don't want speed tanking or better eWar as well as more HP to be possible on a scout suit "Minmitar Scout" and "Masochist" are synonyms. In all honesty, I think they are doing the same thing with giving Assaults a 2 slot bump at proto. It's going to be beastly hard for scouts to put suits down post charlie. The waves of opportunity idea sounds good, but it's such a change from how we've been scouting for so long that I'd much prefer we just find a way to make the Minmatar scout suit viable in general. I've never had much of an issue with their bonuses and wouldn't really mind if they got an EWAR bump in addition to retaining the hack/NK bonus. Those are so situational that they are not equivalent to the always-useful EWAR bonuses the other suits have. @Jace - honored to be in your XCOM squad! Hope I can do better than I have in Ghosts.... Dragged jolly back on a few times but we are both pissed at the sg and cloak tactic thats taken most of the fun out of it, not gonna lie did in a game and still more broken than a gregs lass sitting on a camping stool. Having a blast with the plasma cannon and ishi smg combo with no cloak ( I be a real man not a southern london jack off) blapping squids in the face all in all this is fun... somehow also no pc battles is awesome P.s my goal is to make shotty my gimp in a suitcase, we all need easy to reach goals I want to be a caveman!
