have you ever thought of yourself as a scrub? were you getting stomped in a match and had no motivation? I ran into that today. But as all seemed lost, I got a very good feeling inside. I snuck around enemy lines with my dampened scout. I quickly made a run for a supply depot that was right next to the objective. Without anybody noticing because all the hostiles were at our redline, I took out all their uplinks and spamed the entire room with my links and hives. I grabed my second uplink suit and bolted for the back side of A. I layed all my uplinks in tight corners and had spaces between them. I then switched to my hacking fit and hacked the objective without any threat. As I was hacking, I saw that I was getting team spawn after team spawn. I then told my squad to switch to point defence heavy while I switched to my logi. The hostile team had a scout run to hack the objective but he stood no chance. we then held A the rest of the game and won. I feel like one man can change the course of the battle. 1 tactical move is all it took to pull it off. I hope to see more fights like this in the near future.

I like doing this though I tay in my scout suit, because all I have is scouts They are awesome at holding an Objective. Have had a lot of fun holding Objectives with a Heavy helper before though. Crazy times These are the little things that can turn a match around, one of the fun things about this game.

Two-Man Team, Spotter + Driver ...
Spotter (Squad Lead) watches overhead map for tanks. Monitors target type, orientation and bearing. Sets "Rally Points" via overhead map for Driver.
Driver proceeds through Rally Points ... Driver reaches Target, which should always looking the wrong way.

I've just been using Swarms again instead of it. But I always just used my Templar A-I Logistics suit with Nanohive and F/45 REs, on a Blood Raiders Saga with a mlt fuel injector. Drop 4 REs on LAV at front tires. activate MLT scanner. Drive around and locate tank. Approach from rear, if not possible just take non-linear paths towards it at. when within 50m activate injector, drive at it, jump out. If the crash doesn't detonate and kill the tank then manually detonate. Call in new LAV. repeat. Drop nanohive, call in LAV, repeat. Repeat. Go back to supply depot and start whole cycle again... unless interrupted or no more tanks.

What if, instead of all modules, this was only applied to armor plates, while feroscale and reactive plates retain the current straight HP bonus? That way there's a clear break point where fitting % based modules becomes more effective, while lower HP suits still have the option of fitting modules that have a reasonable increase, without leading to situations where massive tanking occurs.
Due to the low HP output of shield exptenders and the lack of alternate options, I think they should stay as is, but the % change would push light suits away from straight plate armor and make ferro and reactive more attractive, while maintaining the effectiveness of heavies.

On the topic of regular armor plates becoming % based - I used to hate this idea but if ferros and reactives were left as is, it would be fine. What would the percentages be though? 10%,20%,30%? Would the speed penalties change too?
