Twas coverd somewhat in IWS's cloak thread (along with the brick tanking issue). I'm thinking it could be beneficial if it was a scout from here that could start it up? I don't know a single player, scout or otherwise that has argued it is a good thing. Just saying It might be good in lowering the chance of a mob wih torches and pitchforks turning up outside the barbershop. That way we can set the parameters of any 'nerf' a bit. There are people that are already calling for a mandatory cool down period after deactivation, lowering recharge times, increasing overall shimmer etc. When really I think the insta-shoot glitch(?) is the single biggest instigator to clack QQ. No other single piece of equipment is so central to how a role is balanced and Id rather it didn't to through the usual CCP nerf/buff cycle (wishful thinking I know). The Ghost of Bravo

Sure, it may be more helpful for my team to run a Wyirkomi Nanite Injector and a Core Focused Repair Tool, buuuut I could always run basic injector and basic rep-tool to earn more war points. When you get more war points for reviving than killing, and you have triage points every second you heal someone for up to 15 seconds, personal gain is so much higher when you use the stuff that screws over your own team. I do when I can fit it, however now that I'm cloaked on my G-1 and C-1, the ADV needle only fits on the ADV suits. I only have it on my "hunter/killer" suits... the Gallente's with a with ferroscale, kin/cat, range, precision and damage mod. It's great because when I run like that I'm usually not solo and there's always a blue or scout-bro that needs a revive! And some of us run pretty expensive scouts, and you know how often we die sometimes.... Double posting like a Kaiser.

Presumably not bolt pistol, since its full auto? but its lag still makes it a pain in the butt, so possibly... And then we could have a "my pistol is better" free choice category. Not to mention a "cloaks allowed" category Heck, we could even organize tournaments! (Reminder; FW can get this happening with large groups of us!) Managed 41-6 today in a domination match, which I think is my highest ever score (I know, I'm not that good), in my advanced minmatar scout. Was great fun, didn't really rely on the cloak too much, quite often I found myself not bothering to engage it so as not to waste any time. It's more useful for open spaces I find. I had been running range amps in my lows but in a more packed cqc environment the 30m base range is fine. Swapping the extra range for my good old Kinetic Catalyser and a PG upgrade was great. In general I haven't been doing too great since 1.8 yet. I think that's mainly because I have been running sidearms for the event and I wasn't using the clack properly. Once I realized you need to play similarly to 1.7 but with the cloak just making you slightly less noticeable at a distance I have been doing better.
