The Shinobi Event prizes are:

What if we asked them to delay the rewards to change them up:

Perhaps a black toned color to all. and a small bump in certain aspects?

1x GÇÿShinobiGÇÖ Scout mk.0 +100 Shield
1x GÇÿShinobiGÇÖ Scout gk.0 +100 Armor

I was thinking the prizes are kind of well.. shrug. Would you guys find it worth delaying the prizes if they could rethink the awards? It would have been cool if they made the prizes reflect the event.. make them truly special. You'd only bust them out for the most special battles. You wouldn't even dare sell them unless your red jar habit took you there.

Any thoughts?

I hear ya guys to me, the prizes aren't such a biggie. You'll jus turn through them, or sell them. But it could be worth asking?

In the very least, maybe push it as a way to think about future rewards?

I would just add, if we asked, and they agreed.. wouldn't it be worth the wait for those vs mere AUR items?

I might be reaching, but i think Ole Scout Reg is saying the old barbershop is going to remained closed. A shrine to what a fubar mess uprising till 1.8 was for a scout. After 1.8 drops, we're presumably back in action, and will all have a place in the new corp making this thread officially retired. Not just closed.

We all suffered, stood together, and this is a testament to those dark times.

So I'm wondering what scout to spec into after the patch.

Caldari scout looks incredibly resilient - 450 shields with a 2s (with regulator) recharge delay and 50 HP/s is insane. That kind of durability without slowing down at all seems amazing, especially as it'll have a cloak and good passive scans as well.
Gallente scout's dampening bonus might be valuable with the new Gallogi, and can fit an absurdly massive tank with inherent regen.

Minmatar scout... Seems like the best choice for ninja work. Knife damage bonus, fastest scout, room for kincats, acceptable regen and a hack bonus.

Amarr scout looks like it can run all day and tank very well too. The stamina looks amazing - a load of my deaths tend to be from running out of stamina when I need to vault over a railing to escape or something.

I'm presently leaning towards the Caldari scout, although I like knifing and the Gallente scout is my racial favourite.

Anyone else care to share their thoughts?

Gal/Cal - ghost and hunter

I'll be keeping my Mini scout, but if there's a general respec I'm seriously considering dropping some of my medium spend and skilling into at least one other to support my different playstyles. Not sure if I'll go Cal or Gal though, difficult choice. Will need to see the final stats on them to decide I think.

Gal/Cal - hunter/assault

On Shinobi:
If offered Respec, I'd seriously consider switching from Gallente to Minmatar.
Knives are that much fun.

Impressive.

I think the mini an gallente are still the best, for versitality, the gall will really be able to hold its own, an the min can tank so many ways an styles an the Amar will be a nasty bouncy shotgun tank, but the caldari IMO has a bad load out.

It's too similar to a min assault an the now min proto scout, Two lows is a bugger for a scout, sure it's got good bonuses an a fast shield but it's options are very slim with 2 lows, no major combinations, speed, stamina, dampening , range, plates.

Honestly I think the best way to fit that suit will be:
3 shields
Energizer
2complex shield regulators/1 reactive plate/two reds
Cloak
Scanner
Sg or knives

Be very still an hit one at a time like a ghost an move as soon as your scanned
It's gonna have the same trouble as today's Minja

Sure it would be nice to have more eHP then a nano hive.. but I think a gradual change would be better, so we dont become a FOTM and then get re nerfed

I think that any nerf concerns in the future should be directed at the cloak rather than scout....I hope
