Had a blast with all of you yesterday. In recap:
Tranq drops then repeatedly tea-bags a proto MedFrame we lured from LLAV.
^ Laughing my arse off, I get sniped trying to get in on the tea-bag action.
Learned 3 times in a row that "sneaking up" on Moody is quite difficult.
We discover that Nyra gets angry when people call him "a javier".
Nyra and Ghost discover that Appia is a girl (not a little boy).
Nyra and Ghost earn "idiot" label ... but I didn't mean it :-)

I was running around in a min std light with two assault scram pistols at the orbital artillery outpost and found Mustard running a flaylock. We went back and forth around the resupply depot for a minute or two. Mr Mustard finally darted to that wall area on the outside. As I chased him, he sprinted out and jumped into the air. I managed to kill him with a mid-air headshot and he got me with his flaylock.

I was running my old Minnie medium suit back in the day, before I had really committed to the way of the scout...
Went to jump a second story railing in order to go down and cross the street (in one of the big indoor bases) so I could flank some enemy reds...
He apparently caught up to me after I'd jumped over the railing and clipped me with his knives in mid-air. I hit the street dead. Didn't even have a clue what happened (or that he was even there) til I saw him land on the street beside me and go speeding off...
Been a fan of his work ever since  |

I think mustard got me with REs too! He got a two killfeed with me in it. I want to say that it is memorable going toe-to-toe against you guys. I think other scouts should come into our special thread. Some on the channel don't know about this great place. They need a nice shave. lol

Haha, the match we were in together ... despite the fact that the majority of our team was off doing ... whatever they were doing ... I noticed that you must have been on a set timer on that killfeed. Every time I looked up, you had another kill, dude |

-sighs- those moments in your history where you come across a gallente with 700 armor and a duvolle ar with damage mods...Makes you wonder how people can stand to play like they do. Also makes you want to spec into mediums but I never will. I feel those suits are just cheating in this kind of game...I pulled out a militia level ar to see how they were now and threw it away in disgust. Its just too easy to kill anything. Now I actually understand why I occasionally see people chasing tanks with ar's firing away, its likely possible to chase them off. Probably an exaggeration but this game seems like it would be better without things like the ar's and scrambler rifles. People would be forced to find a weapon that actually suits them rather than use what people say are the "Best". Somehow easiest doesn't seem like a synonym for best.
qq post after the most frustraighting game i have ever played. Dropped the same bastard to 40 health every time and he always got me in the end...scout vs 700 armor duvolle scrub...sad day

One of the best scout squads I have been in. I had a BLAST.
Also, me and Nyra just SOUND like idiots when we squad together, mainly due to the fact that we go off on tangents and ruin the tactical chatter going on. That being said, we still pull our weight though
Also, King wins the Most Kills with RE's, but I think that I win the award for the best RE though. Set up an RE trap and blew up two scouts and a med frame. Nothing like watching the bodies fly after a good RE trap. Also, George666 flew the furthest

Not really on topic but they really need to quit backfilling lost games with new players. Three sure losses in row now.
It's one thing to join a game, play for a while, and then lose (or lose worse when some quit). That's part of the experience. However, joining a nearly completed lost cause is not the same. You don' t even have the joy of being beaten by a better opponent as part of losing.

Man, sidearms for the win! The lower level flaylock is such a difficult weapon to use.... the slow travel time also makes it hard to land shots directly on opponents. And the basic flay carries like 5 bullets.... I'm always switching to the knives way too soon.
I have to try out the Flaylock / Scrambler pistol, but using the dual SCP's is so, so sweet... not sure I could give one up unless I really get good enough to consistently nail the direct shots with the flaylock! |

I got kinda bored with GTA 5 (the knifing is just not the same) and decided to claim 50 free black eagle suits. and the 3 day booster. Took me a while to catch up on this thread. Holy moly! This thread is crazy awesome. Great Job, Shotty! 66k+ views!? Talking about keeping scouting alive :)
I played one match today... everything is a bit weirder than before, but knives work! Despite the clumsiness of not playing for so long I went 13-10. I guess not bad. 10 knife kills tho.. so yea. They are working pretty great! I even had a knife fight with some dude.. Markus I believe. I took him in a fight. It was so funny to immediately get into one. It used to be such a rare thing and he I get into one not even 5 minutes into the match. Mr. Musturd must have people scared of knives because one guy even ran away from me. That, is also, something I thought I'd never see.
I had a **** ton of SPs waiting for me so I kicked my knife prof to lv 5 as well as hacking. I'm not exactly familiar with the new tac net, but it didn't seem to cramp my style. And so shotguns actually work as well? Me and my boy The Ugly might have to jump on tonight and give it a spin. BF4 has been... lacking....
Maybe if CCP keeps this up we'll have some kind of fix for scouts by 2015?
