So... What should my 12th protosuit be?

Gal/Cal/Am assault
Gal sentinel
Gal/Cal commando
Gal/Cal/Min scout
Gal/Min logi

I did not biomass. started the termination timer and decided to delete the game before biomass. As others have said I could change my mind and it reminded me that I do make bad decisions when not thinking straight.
Thinking now of maybe just playing less and only if in a squad. Maybe that will help but I doubt it. Going to even try to use my stereo bluetooth headset for mic. I really want this game to be fun but the last week has just been proto stomp after proto stomp and it is just getting really old.
Guess I just need to sit back smoke a blunt and sing hakuna matata, lol

Friends tell me I am bipolar. Never been to dr to find out because then I would have a label on my that would prevent me from having a gun permit or gun period. Yeah I know that is scary a bipolar old man with a gun, lol
Also the meds I am on because of my work injury in april of 2014 also has side effect that makes bipolar worse.
Then on top of that trying to quit smoking because for my surgery dr tells me I HAVE to quit smoking or they will not operate.
My mind is very unstable. I really am thinking a visit to a shrink is in order, lol

Absolutely. This, bipolar, and "my adhd" are the big 3 that piss me off. Having any sort of experience with mental disorders really makes it obvious how poor the attitude towards people who have them is, at least in the US.

Always use IshNoks if you knife.

ZNs are nice and all- but go IshNok or go home. With knives it's not about the money or the fitting. It is (or was?) about killing tanked fatties as fast as possible. If you are hacking away at the first fatty when IshNoks would have killed him already and die to his logi/fatty buddies what good did that ZN do you?

I'm willing to admit to that I don't spend as much time with them as I should.

But what I mean about them scaling is that you're pretty much only going to 1 shot a suit if you direct impact it, and since the STD cannon already pretty much 1 shots everything there isn't much incentive to spec higher than that. I specced into PLCs on my alt pre-buff and the splash damage scaling per meta level increase was hilariously low. I will agree that the reload bonus is excellent though.

I wouldn't necessarily take your friends' word for it, bipolar is a really poorly understood disorder when it comes to the general public. It's way more than just mood swings. If you do seriously think you have it then you definitely should seek psychiatric help though, because it is very debilitating. Hell, it sounds like you could use a talk with a shrink even if you don't have bipolar, that's a lot of shit to be going through. Good luck. o7

Just wanted to say. I ******* love knives. ******* love them. So much fun. So much pain. It's the only weapon where I have specific events running through my head 15 minutes after the battle is done.

Just now I should've had the minmando...should've had him dammit. I screwed up...he was launching schwarmas....I flanked him, he moved backwards, I missed a swipe, he pulled out his other weapon and ended me. If I'd attacked from the rear, been more patient, it might've gone differently. If I'd kept closer to him...anticipated a surprise and been ready for it....it might've gone differently.

I don't know if it's luck, my following Arkena's gal guide and getting some better situational awareness, or what, but I'm doing pretty good with em the last few days. I took three mercs out inside 3 - 4 seconds just now. Yeah two were hacking but still. No other weapon will let you kill that fast.

Several weeks back I did a double-kill on two mercs - got congratulatory mail for that one from both victims.

Also agree with Mollerz...really gotta use protos - need that alpha. That said, if you're learning how to use em, then perhaps you would use something cheaper to get a feel for how they work, how the fights work, all the different dynamics before expecting to kill with them. I guess that might make sense. But you should not be expecting to stay alive with anything less than ishnoks imho. Personally I won't run em on anything but a minja, but others have had success in different suits.

Oh **** yeah and I also shot a LAV driver out of his wankmobile with a PLC today too. I love it when that happens. I've now killed drivers in LAVs with forge gun, shotgun, nova knife, and now the PLC. Someone here did it with flaylock recently (caught on tape too) - I guess that's next HAHA.

Anyway I had a blast as you can tell. PLC and NKs are now my favourite weapons. Moreso than my beloved Scrambler Pistol, may her nerfed RoF forgive me.

PS. re: knife alpha: obviously that fatty that killed Spade with MLT knives is an outlier.

I have never worried about isk. I don't need it because I almost never run proto except to test out different things.

My mom and brother have been diagnosed as being bipolar. I don't want to believe I am. Don't want a dr to tell me I am for the gun reasons either so I will probably never know for sure. I figure if I ever go crazy and get put in prison the prison shrink might tell me if I am or not, lol
Been told all my life im bipolar, adhd, ocd, have social anxiety and I don't see it. As long as I am alone in a room with something to keep my mind focused (video game) I am fine and don't have any problems with anyone.

I have been wanting to learn how to use Nova Knives properly for a while, so last week I took them to proto.

I have been running them on my Gal scout. I know this is unorthodox but I believe it can still work.

I am familiar with using a SG and I am a good shot with it so I am used to getting in close etc but knives are a different animal.

There have been several times when I was sure I had a kill but somehow missed. Am I getting too close? Is that even possible?

Results have not been great. I have trouble with moving targets and catching mercs from behind. I am running 2 Kin cats but you can't sprint while charging. I know about the sprint/jump/charge technique but *sigh*

I haven't been clacked up either. Is this bad too? Am I doing it all wrong?

Can anyone point me to resources to help me get better? youtube, a thread, etc or offer any wisdom.?
