I have often thought, if they ever rebuilt the tacnet system (eg legion) whether you can scan something should be based on distance. The closer the enemy the more likely you are to scan them. Range extenders and profile dampeners would affect this.
Precision enhancers should affect the type of dot on the radar. Bad precision should give a fuzzy dot, getting smaller, brighter and more defined with improved precision and adding a direction arrow.
Also weapons fire should give away your location on tacnet, with the option to use silenced variants of some weapons. |

these have not been changed since the original sidearm thread which had all these numbers on display for a couple of weeks. I have never seen these comments before. Not to be snide, but that's what the threads are for, so you can point these out and have a discussion. It's not optimal to get the feedback when we are "locked and loaded".

Now if a shotgun scout attacks I just think "did I just hear?... It sounded like a"....blap! Dead.
A good way to balance shotgun scouts that people keep moaning about? Or is there no need? I know it would need a client patch so is probably moot. |

I kind of miss the old shotgun sound. This one sounds like a rubber ball hitting concrete, which is alright I guess, but it lacks the punch of the original (which I can barely remember the sound of)

This isn't really feedback though. If I meant to give proper feedback I'd do it in the discussion thread. Those were just comments for our sub community. More often than not I forget non-scouts come in here.
That, and I didn't have a access to a computer with enough power to load up google sheets at the time. When I couldn't look at the spread sheet I decided I'd take the sidearm changes like a ball in the rough and play it where it lies.
outside repeating myself on the sniper rifle issue, the only thing in that whole list that I reallllly care about is keeping the PLC arc as-is. Which I mentioned in the first development thread this round that mentioned it and I asked/demanded from soraya/kevall/etc on Han's skype channel.
really though, no one mentioned how every time you tweak sidearms you've been making the breach sidearms more competitive?

I love my breach weapons. The Bravo update to the Breach AR, the 1.8 change to lower ScP rate of fire without touching the TY-5, even when I knew the Ishukone > Boundless > Six Kin SMG was the order of strength I still loved my Boundless.
When this one deploys the first fit I am going to play with is
'Dragonfly' Scout G-I enhanced sidearm damage modifier Bolt Pistol breach SMG RE, Nanohive 2x Compled Profile Dampeners, reactive plate.

Played icdumppl over the weekend. Toon has 25 million sp and only weapon it has skilled into is the scrambler pistol Usually it was pretty even playing dragonfly and bpos but 1 match was getting my but kicked so I pulled out the old g1 with dual tt3s. Oh the slight increase to ROF on the assault versions makes so much difference.
Obviously not using militia bpos also helped but just being able to almost double tap as opposed to waiting to shoot the second shot is such a blessing |

You act surprised. It's been well know that IWS is a terrible player. One of the worst, if not the worst player that kept on with the game for more than a month.
From his previous posts, I would believe it if someone said this was his very first weapon he's ever had Operation skill at 5.
He calls himself an omni-soldier, but he doesn't have every playstyle, he's really just an omni-fail.
Actually, changed my mind. The first thing I want to do when Delta drops is partner up with someone that has a capture device, have them make a new character, and go needlefuck them repeatedly. Just because everyone needs to know that MLT/STD nanite injector is still a tool for trolling and WP farming rather than utility even with shield HP - which I am thankful for on the Proto and LP one - still doesn't fix the problem that is loss of autonomy.

I too miss when the Charge Sniper didn't cause tinnitus, but I also miss the old animation. Having the the ring around the reticle form was a lot nicer for pulling off the partial-charge than having it in the corner. . . also made no-scoping easier
*Sniff* and the sound of a kickball being punted the old shotgun. Which was a deadly thing, unlike it is now.
