Having minja lv 5, knives lv 5 and knife prof lv 5... Dying to a heavy woth 100 armor just cause you used ZNs should be a lesson only learned once it will happen if you use ZNs no matter your skill.
Heck, basic knives are just good for cutting seat belts when your LAV flips over.

Plus I liked the extra challenge of needing another swipe.

I'm only at proficiency 2, so got a ways to go on them yet, but I've had a couple of instances in the last week where I've either left a heavy standing with less than 10 armour, or have only got through two of the reds hacking a point. 50 * 1.25 * 1.06 * 2... that's definitely enough to make a difference.

I love those attacks with the IshNoKs that kill 2 people in one attack, and that really doesn't happen with the others, but yeah. killing people with ZN's gets to them more. Better chance of them raging

Like I said it doesn't make you cool you know what really gets to people? Insta lapping them. Repeatedly.
You know what makes them think you are a fool? Dying to them with 100 or less armor . It makes all knifer look bad.

Gonna have to jump on Dust tonight to play out the new build. I finally speced into forge gun the other night. Killed 4 tanks in one match. Shotty, you should have saved that 1.4 mil into pro V SL and gotten a heavy forger
Excited about stun lock getting fixed. YAY for proving it existed.
I thought radius on Cal scout was never intended to be nerfed. Only the precision. Callie only have 2 lows and 80m scan range isnt that far for compromising your entire fit. You end up with like 5HP. <-------Yes, I am rounding up.

Precision wasnt set to be nerfed. If it is then its a bug.
Many of the changes were made on suggestions by the vocal minority - that is how this stuff works. - There was discussion and I think the main thinking was Caldari should have to move more to maintain that great passive scan and if they want more they have to give up dampening / armor.
It was also said Gal should be range with less precision and cal should be precision with less range.
It was also discussed that both Cal and Gal should lose range entirely but settled on 3% and 1% per level.

but at first glance I'd say this was a big positive for knifers. The slow down would be killing me every time. not my prey. Now I can run and not get stopped?

I FELT like it was slowing me down just getting hit, but with a refurbished PS3, I was chalking it up to the machine being tired and performing poorly on my own end.
MAYBE it'll take an extra 0.01 seconds for an HMG to kill me now... which should give me all the time I need.

I'll be running 2x enh precision amp and a sidearm damage mod in the highs, with 2 enh damps in the lows to see if I manage to get the drop on Cal Scouts that don't also go full ewar on their fits. Honestly can't tell you that I've noticed any major difference yet.
GalScout: I'd been running Damps(x2) + KinCats(x2) and I've noticed no change so far. I do seem to "pop up" on enemy TacNet more often when I swapped out the second damp for KinCat (x3) or Armor Rep.
CalScout: Observing fewer Scouts in matches than before. Still running Enhancers(x2) + Range Extenders(x2). Too early to tell whether or not I'm scanning Scouts more regularly than before.
Cloak: I kinda like the new duration changes. Quick drain; quick recharge.
Observations: Nyain San pubstompers are currently embedding a squishy CalScout instead of GalLogis, but that may change. They're spamming fewer tanks already, which I take as a good sign. Also, f*cking heavies everywhere. Bring your REs, Shotguns and Knives; they're going to be a problem.
