I unlocked proto suits sometime around when I got 16 mill SP. I've used them so rarely (they offer almost no significant advantage to the way I play) that I think of going proto as just getting an extra 20% range on all my other suits. Which was very nice admittedly. But most of the time if I got killed while in my Dragonfly or Dren, then I would've died in my 160 k ISK proto suit. Maxing out electronics and engineering was a hell of a grind, but worth it in the end. I have almost every fit maxed in fitting to the point where I have 0 cpu or pg left in the end, but I can maximize my cheapest suits using half proto modules. So cheap suits with somewhat expensive modules and get an excellent return on investment. ie my favorite fitting to run is a Dren with REs and costs me ~11k isk (has around 350 eHP i think) Shield extender skill to 5 post haste! (complex extenders = SOOOO much better than enhanced, + 4% ? more shield on all modules) Same with the armor plate skill. Driftward alt. Its a secret, shhhh....

Cardio SP is > than Kin Cat SP. it's true, kin cats are sweet. But a scout with zero stamina can't use kin cats. or jump. or move really. Precision, Dampening, Range.. all of that will get magnified with the new scout stats, and are absolutely worth going to 5 at some point. Scheduling dependent upon game play style of course. A Minja will want to prioritize dampening > range > precision, IMHO. The reason weapon skilling is so all over the place for vets is because of the extremely slow and staggered introduction of weapons. Hell, I'd love to drop some weapons altogether, and only have skills in some because it was prenerf, or just plain ran out of **** to SP into. Armor is, again, play style. A minja won't ever touch armor unless they are going gonzo on fits. The new proto minja's 3rd low slot now, finally, makes armor at least something to consider. You gotta hustle if you wanna make a dolla
