About the only thing I'd change, is make my heavy a caldari. I'd keep the logi. maybe I'd cash in the asault. but since I'm keeping the logi, what does that get me? all of 40k or something?
I suppose i MIGHT bump the gallente scout back down to 3, since there is no longer such a UberBonus for gallente scout levels. I could then use that 680k I suppose, to get into caldari scout 3. Will depend on the 'final' gallente spec.
I suppose I might also just use caldari scout as "caldari logi light", and nuke the full logi. Caldari logi is so gimped compared to others. I played around with fittings for Cal ADV logi vs gallente ADV scout, trying similar things: stealth, a weapon, and tank. The Cal logi only ended up with 100 more HP. (Since one slot had a proto damp)
Mind you, it could also fit a proto scanner, which is nice.. but since they're getting nerfed anyways... Meh?

They give much smaller bonuses, and most don't need to be taken over 3. Except hacking. That skill is worth every SP. Hacking is absolutely worth it for me, I like to minimize my exposure time.
Don't underestimate the weapons bonuses though. If you dual wield sidearms it is a pretty big bonus Allows me to fit a lot more on my suits.

Props to Appia for honoring a knife fight this time. Even if it eventually ended up with me dying, again. On a related note, I am seriously bad at knife duels. 0-7. So if you want some knife dueling with someone you will probably beat, hmu.
Also, congrats on the triple post Ghost.

If its not a full infantry respec it would be a swift kick in the pants for people who are "skilling for their role" currently. I can see them not refunding anything in the weapons tree, but again, suit changes are so pervasive it even effects the weapons tree.
EX: Amarr not longer have bonus to cooldowns. EX: Mini logi no longer needs to hack. EX: Heavys getting bonuses to a tank type.
List goes on and on.
Based on IWS saving SP it worries me that its actually the case of CCP not intending to give any respec. But thats tinfoil hattery.

Yeah, but for the most part, the CPU/PG saved on those skills past III is very small compared to the huge amount of SP it takes to get those to V.
It is far more SP efficient to get them to III and just work around the meager CPU/PG differences instead.

The movement penalty is so insignificant (2%) that you hardly notice the difference in 2% and 0
The reactive plate is all around useless. It's fitting cost is too high and the things it gives aren't good enough. You're better off with a regular repair or a regular plate than the abomination that is reactive.
Of course this is all assuming you want to be a combat oriented scout.

Started Uprising with 11 million skill points. started with sniper rifle prof 5, scrambler pistol prof 3, scan skills 5, gal-scout 5, biotics 5, KinCats 5. Hacking Bonus was what I wanted the most. Then around 24M SP I had all the weapons I wanted (and then some) and got my second proto suit. Started working on uplinks and nanohives to 5, then all I had was to max those skills out and get every last bit of juice out of my suits.

Ferro and Reactive are so terrible. You're better off putting in an armor repair module that that garbage. Until/unless the fittings costs are equalized ferroscale are just so bad. 2 enhanced plates, a dampener and a repair mod would put you at 4.93m/s move and 7.26 sprint for 241 extra armor. Or with your 2 EQ slots dedicate one to an armor repair nanohive and trade the armor repair for a biotic mod for stamina or sprint speed.
Or say F-it and go basic dampener + 3 complex plates. 4.22 movement and 6.2 m/s sprint. for 445 extra armor
Or, go for broke and run 4 complex plates and use a basic cloak for dampening and a wyirkomi triage nanohive. 3.92 movement, 5.77 sprint, 594 extra HP
