I'm feeling like a ganja would be a better shotty scout. But I'd want to run ferro scale armor?

I run under 300hp, using a basic reactiveGǪ I know unorthodoxGǪ but effective for me.

Just ran a match against a dude named aztec something (maybe aztechdeadly) running around with knives in a medium suit and ZNs. I suppose you could say, depending on his skills, that he using a med suit/adv knives vs me in an adv suit runnning Ish Noks was a wash lol /s
We had a epic knife fight that went for well over a minute. That is a long time to knife fight, and certainly the world record for me. talk about intense.
I took him out the first time. He did nick me and take out my shields, but i ended up besting him. this was at the start of the match. Then, we almost fought again, but his team mate blapped me with a scrambler. Then at the very end of the match we got into another fight. it was far shorter, but i hit him way good... then he got me. must have got me with both blades that time. The kicker was on the kill screen dude had 62 armor left and then the match ended.

way cool tho. I wish this was far more common place.

Finally starting to bump the K/D back up.



Although K/D doesn't matter, it does show the impact of a patch, for the first few days, 1.6 was brutal, but now I've adapted....... again.....

Next patch next adaption test.

I think we should basically kick out the appointed CPM in favor of all new people.

IWS is the only one I would be inclined to vote for as an "incumbent" in an election. But then I think to all the times he pops into conversations, says something cryptic blah blah NDA. The equivalent to I'd tell ya but I'd have to kill ya bullshit. Um.. it's tactless and tends to derail conversations. First of all dude, don't care. It isn't cute, and no one cares.

Then we have jenza or whatever.. She is so toxic in this game I would never even give her a second of time if I met her. Just a very self serving selfish person.

Nova knife? That is probably the biggest misnomer in this game.

I would go on, but the rest of the CPM is never around the forums, I never see them in matches, and frankly who are they again? I forgot their names. shrug.


IMO- shotty would be a far better CPM than Aeon or IWS. by far. And who better to represent scouts?

If I am still around, I'd say no matter what, we should organize scouts chicago politico style and get a concrete voting block together to make sure we get the best suited scout representation possible.

Shotty has been fair, analytical, and great at aggregating scout issues for the last year at least.

maybe aeon and IWS could fill spots? But even if they did- we should still concentrate on someone like shotty (unless there is someone better I have no knowledge of?) to get in there as well.

They have been that way for a while now, (I know this because I have checked in the beginning of 1.6), so I thought that was the norm.

im pretty sure its been that way since the start of uprising. but the damage displayed is per uncharged knife. you get 2hits so if both knives land its 600 damage for the quick strike and roughly around 1200damage if both charged knives hit. thats not including and suit bonus or proficiencies. also headshot seem to be adding the extra damage now im not sure when it was ninja fixed but headshots are 150% you still dont get the 60wp but it does make the sound

So to my scout brothers and sisters if you don't want to be scan by me with out even knowing it you have to put on a proto dampener.

To bring everyone up to speed on current Scout/CPM relations:

* IWS - On the same page as Scouts with respect to both weapon and role balance.
* Nova Knife - In-game activity has spiked since last build; comments in Scouts United from time to time.
* Laurent - Actively advocating for Scout buffs, namely to speed and evasive capability.
* Hans - Status / Positions unknown.
* Jenza - Status / Positions unknown.

Personal Conclusions on Aeon Amadi as CPM1 Nominee:

Having read through Aeon's positions on weapon balance,
I've found his take to be in stark contradiction to that of our current CPM:

Iron Wolf Saber
* Seems even-handed when it comes to weapon balance.
* Tackles the issues head on. Offers excellent fix suggestions.
* Would lobby CCP for better comparative performance of niche weapons.
* Would push CCP toward greater weapon diversity in Dust.

Aeon Amadi
* Seems interested in balance, but prone to ardently defend the AR.
* Is inclined to wax / wane and blame mechanics rather than admit an OP weapon is OP.
* Would lobby CCP for "fair odds" for the AR when facing niche weapons.
* Would push CCP away from greater weapon diversity in Dust.

If asked choose between Aeon and IWS for CPM1:
As of today, I would vote for Iron Wolf Saber.

* I still like Aeon, and I still think he can do alot to help Scouts when it comes to Suit balance. But I fear Aeon's opinions on the effectiveness of "general use" weapons would impede efforts toward weapon balance, serving to perpetuate the status quo. Good for AR-514, but bad for Scouts.
