Was just gonna say exactly the same thing. Range Amps are totally pointless imo. Base scan radius is too low.
I do not like how he likes to "shake up the meta once in a while" - it breaks **** and is exactly the sort of mentality that brings us buff <--> nerf cycles and wastes everyone's investments.

So I've been using the officer mass driver with a damage mod + kincat fit Minmando.
Good times. It depresses me how much people don't notice me coming (I must be the loudest thing on the map) though.
Having played a speedfit scout a lot 6m of 250+ damage splash is fricking terrifying to me.
Sometimes, one just has an overwhelming urge to throw a potato at someone.

Dragon's health bar at 90% after a solid 2 minutes of beatings; reminded me of Baldur's Gate dragon fights! Absolutely loved the attention-to-detail w/the dragon's flames and fireball attacks. Loot seemed pretty cool; nothing worse than poop loot after a fight like that...hope you can get armor out of those scales/bones. Laughed at the quest status at the end ... not cool :-) |

Well you know Logi and assault is taking over eWar so heavies might get jump and sprint. I mean nobody runs sentinel no more since the HUGE nerf to the HMG the other day. Have not seen a single sentinel since.

I have enjoyed the bit I have played so far, which isn't very much.
Mostly enjoying my typical looks-eerily-like-me-yet-not-at-all-like-me character. Wields double knives. Cloaks up and kills things.

if they got a bonues of 5% like now they could out a Minnie plus more stamina plus best precision. the Minnie is barely the fastest at the moment by 0.01. the Minnie are the speed kings and if the scout lost that then what would be the point of them? besides you need to look at the mod that are in the LP store and fit the scout bonus to it. lol though the Minnie have taken the caldari nova knives & swarm launcher from them lol |

If you gave them a bonus to the module efficacy, they would only beat a Minja with a lot of fittings sacrifice. It doesn't need to be a passive bonus.
I like my Minja's speed, but that matters to me less than the knife and hacking bonus. As you point out, the marginal difference in their superior speed is already significantly low enough that it is probably no different in terms of perception.
Without a Dampening bonus like the Cal and Gal have, the Amarr will be making a great sacrifice to speed tank, especially since they don't have quite the range anymore with the other nerfs.
I don't think the Amarr are in a strong enough place that giving them a bonus to biotics would be a problem.

If the Amarr get a speed/biotic bonus they may as well have our knife bonus too.

Apparently some Amarr ships in EVE are extremely fast. A biotic mod bonus for Amarr wouldn't change the fact that Min scouts have the best strafe and non-sprint speed, not to mention excellent stamina and superior stamina regen, who uses stamina mods?

Mistook my meaning. Rattati made passive recon bad for a reason. I imagine he wants to keep it that way. Making the AM scout a slightly less bad recon unit won't cut it. Drop precision and give it a new role; something people will actually want to run. I think "biotic scout" is a great idea, and I don't see any conflict with MN Scout. Knifing is about base movement speed, and MN base movement would remain far better than AM. |

This is solid and meaningful, but I don't think it'd help to equalize usage rates. AM would only see play in PC. Speed + Knives would be infinitely more fun to play than a hack suit. Not "even" in my book.
MN and GA Scouts are in a good place. CA less so role-wise but far from crap. AM Scout has absolutely nothing going for it. |

Well you do have to equip the Knives to get the bonus for them
