The bolt pistol is actually amazing...i was using it in PC's earlier and this thing eats lightning and ***** thunder.
One SG shot, back jump, switch to BP and one shot body shot kills even the brickiest of the bricks in terms of scouts.
"Minmitar Scout" and "Masochist" are synonyms.

Flaylock is still damage starved IMO, but the extra shot helps a lot.
Ion Pistol is GREAT. RoF buff was godsend, and I can charge with little fear now.
Haven't used Bolt Pistol. Heard the praises though.
Haven't used Scrambler. Heard that the Breach is downright NASTY.
I love the new projectile damage profile. I rip though armor like crazy now.
Burst HMG's are far less common.
Shield module changes and Minmatar HP changes are great.
ADS got nerfed. At least they are cheaper now. I don't think Soraya realized just how insane that afterburner nerf is. Dropships spend most of their time doing nothing as they have to wait for afterburner to recharge. This is how you kill playstyles.
Tac Sniper is fun. I see more snipers in general now. Headshot bonus is much appreciated.
Not much else. Only had time to test a few things before class.

we've been playing destiny together. And I was asleep most of the day outside that.
Got a headache, can't play DUST when I get these because of the ****** anti-aliasing makes it worse. . . something that isn't a problem in Destiny where I can snipe a character well over half the map given a proper vantage point.

I thought they were only moving the headshot bonus to 150% not the 225% I am seeing in game. I have it at prof 4 and it just destroys people. Having only 4 shots in the magazine is going to take some getting use to though.

If cool-headed and dead-eyed (or heavy on HP), the bolt is a fine finisher in CQC.
If prone to panic like me, the Breach ScP is by far a better bet :-)
Also, it looks like the overly buffed Breach ScP is in for a slight nerf ...
Damage previously was 134 (Charlie)
Damage presently is 189 (+41% from Charlie)
Damage soon to be 152 (+13% from Charlie)
Shoot scout with yes.

There was a slight RoF increase in addition to the damage buff; I think it'll be fine.
That said, I doubt it'll be in the running for any best-in-class trophies :-)

Are you trippin' balls? The Ion pistol is by now way great. Better than it was, but not great. Imagine if all the other sidearms were Lions, the Ion is a domestic cat.

So I briefly tried the Bolt in an ambush today.
I have the same problem with this that I have with the PLC. That is to say, I dislike weapons that not only charge, but then shoot at the moment when fully charged.
So not only do I have to aim, but I have to time the charge as well so that I am actually aiming at someone when it fires. So I just knifed them instead.
Not so bad with a PLC that has splash damage, but man that is killer on the Bolt.
I guess I will try the ScP. I have done well with it on starter fits with my alt, and I think I would do much better with that than I would with the Bolt.
