Played a match Tankination to test out the new swarms. Got lucky; opposing side included a squad of Azteca. Lots and lots of vehicles; few ground troops; great climate for testing swarms. Roughly 9-10 distinct vehicle engagements. The speed change is noticeable; the change in tracking imperceptible (at least at first glance). Succeeded in placing 3 consecutive volleys into moving LAV, Viper and Python. Presumably caught off guard, the Python promptly activated shield hardeners and zipped away. Pre-Delta, a similar scenario would've involved the Python outrunning or out-maneuvering volley 2 and volley 3. From my rooftop vantage today, volleys 1, 2 and 3 each appeared to connect. This leads to me believe that if I'd sync'd strikes with a partner, the Python would've very likely crashed. In my book, this is a clear improvement. Anyone else try these out? Bolt pistol is really really good. Using it in place of my sniper rifle now. Only down side on it vs the tac sniper is range. Ion is more like a faster weaker ScP. Not bad but ok.

The clip size nerf is a bummer but it is more than worth it. I one shotted an assault at AR range earlier. 10/10. Ion pistol still sucks imo, but people are bound to disagree with me. Still, DEFINITELY more usable than before. Overall a positive change, but it needs a little something something. Assault scrambler feels the same, breach scrambler is a MONSTER if you can hit it. I went solo against almost an entire team and came out with 7+ kills before dying. They didn't see me more than 2 at a time, but still. Magsec is way more usable but I don't care for it. Same goes for flaylock and PLC. Breach SMG is overall way better, it's an excellent suppression tool with its high clip size. Assault SMG feels great and works well in its role. Really liking the tactical sniper, went 8-3 with a minmatar scout on that inner city map with the giant mushroom building in the center, and I wasn't even trying that hard. It was like a heavy tac AR. Speaking of which, I tried the tac ar. I haven't tried it in a while so I can't really comment, but I miss the old reticle we got for it :( Overall, I adore this hotfix. I like it, takes some getting used to. Zoom I don't think is different for Charge - if it is, then it's not noticeable because of the range nerf... I'm not trying to look so far afield.
