Whew, that was a rough couple of days. Laptop charger got fecked so I wasn't able to get on the forums, but I'm back now, it's all good. So what's new? I've gone onto Dust a few times but there's been no one on, so I've only bothered with like 2 matches over the past 3 days. After which I switched to BF3 and go on a trolling spree. Still In your hammock Monk? Did that whiskey pass by California yet LIast? How's delta coming along? Out yet or no? College is starting up tomorrow to steal away my game time.

There's a lot I havent done yet, Uncharted 2&3 (got 3 for free, it's sitting there on my hard drive), never finished infamous 2. I've only had my PS3 for a year (was a 360/PC player in college). I'm not really big on JRPGs. And I have my backlog of steam games and my PS4 so it's not like I'm gonna run out of stuff to play any time soon. Might I recommend Okami, Ratchet and Clank HD, Kingdom Hearts HD, ICO/Shadow of the Colossus HD, and Journey? I don't think any gamer can afford to miss those. Jak and Daxter HD, Little Big Planet 2 (although 3 is coming up soon, and that has all the player made levels of 1 and 2) and Heavenly sword are pretty good ones. Most of the exclusives are worth getting.

I'm not sure if I'm willing to kick around until they shut the servers. Forums? Sure, the Bungie forum is lame. But I'm tempted to do an ISK donation and trade in my PS3. Dust was the only reason I've kept it so long.
I'm kinda wishing I'd spent more time on those other games I shelved while I grinded ISK waiting for a Market and getting my toon good and ready for when this game got out of Beta. Heh, my Ps3 isn't going anywhere for a while, not with Borderlands The PreSequel and AC: Rogue still to be played. I'll probably stick around until the end like I did with MAG. Damned shame about that, it had such huge potential.

You start the subclass with nothing unlocked. You will still have a lot to do after you unlock the class don't worry.

Ugh, this is a ****** way to design a game. Honestly, you don't put the fun part at the bloody end, no one is going to go and watch a movie where the first hour and a half is a pile of shite with people doing feck all and then at the end it has a decent gunfight, why do people think it's acceptable in vidya games? /rant

I disagree.
You hit level 20 really quick and some stuff opens up even before then. - I have played about 3-4 days putting in alot of time yesterday and I am at 20. I havent even finished Venus yet.
I played a lv 18 strike (when I was at 15) with a friend and a fair amount of PvP and I am at 21 with Rare and one legendary piece of gear.
The game is less than a week old and the worse feeling would be like certain RPG's where you finish the story and then you can roam the world but it has no appeal because everything is done.
It was kind of a bummer to have to wait on Bladedancer and the fact that you cant choose your path until you systematically unlock options but I am moving through that subclass smoothly though the invisibility options are still farther down the line.

I am level 14, and haven't hit a ton of the missions. Maybe half, or just a bit more.
Plus they are going to start doing weekend events and such that sound interesting, and it could inject some life into the game for a longer term period. Even if you aren't playing it everyday, it could be something that brings people back regularly. It will be interesting to see how it plays out.
I have a feeling they are just starting to figure out what this game is capable of and perhaps they wanted a firm foundation before moving forward with other things. That could be wishful thinking though.

The people who made the weekly strike this week were just mean......just plain mean. Wanting to torture and make you sit in corners in order to win. If that sort of behavior continues I won't be happy.
There is a ton of interesting things that bungee did to this game and it will likely evolve over time. It's really well made and the development team did a great job on treating those "holy ****" moments when you least expect.
I'm feeling PvP for late game grinding. It's a bit better in terms of not feeling grindy or too difficult. Everything is random chance anyway. I've got two toons at 20 and I'll probably work on the third this week. Those last several light levels are basically a grind for gear and I plan on sharing between toons anyway.
Magnus thanks again today, hope to see you around again :)

I had a hard time scattering my dogs ashes this summer. I get to scatter the other half when I go home for Christmas with the other side of our family. While its not the same I haven't lost a family member since I was in High School (father) but I don't think you realize the effects of loss until you are older.
Eventually you realize that funerals bring people together even if for a sad reason, its wonderful to remember the positive aspects that loved one brought into your life and to participate in the stories that other people share in those circumstances. IMO the funeral is the "best" part because you get to celebrate their life and the impact they had on the people around them; including yours. Its later that the real sadness kicks in with the feeling of loss.
Hugs all around. o{ }o{ }o ^ thats my interpretation of a hug emote

Hilarity
PLC makes me wonder if the current cloak delay complaints are valid at allGǪ. I most certainly was visible for many of my shots as the charge time is certainly longer than the decloakGǪ and I found that i had to delay to charge the shot to avoid misfires.

My condolences to all, I'm lucky enough not to have lost much people so far, just one Grandmother, which hit me pretty hard. Then there's my other on my dads side having a few health scares, though nothing too bad.
Saying that, I do have some graves I'd like to visit in the coming years. Centenary of the First World War and all that.

I've been shotgunned head-on two or three times by partially visible assailants since the decloak timer tweak. I believe there to be some validity to the complaints, but I also believe that fire-from-cloak is far from a regular occurrence.
I'd support a decloak/attack delay if for no other reason than to remove any doubt and put an end to the incessant foul-crying of troll Apothecary Za'ki.
