You do understand that the maps are most of the time around that size right?
So you would need to go from one edge of the map to the other, then some more, to get any benefit.

Having Role bonuses to a set number instead of x/level would be a really nice way of helping out new players and gently push fitting constraints on suits, I like it +1

I tried using Knives again yesterday, specced op5 grabbed some IshNoks and put 1cCardiac & 3cKinetics, 2cShieldExtenders and a Duvolle and some fluxes on my suit! I love that sprint speed! Almost as much as I love being dampened. Now all I need is someone to teach me how to use these thingsGǪ

I prefer bpo/basic/enhanced cardiacs over complex ones, except for the start of match suit but then again I rarely fit cardiacs at all if I can find a way of squeezing in a complex Kinetic.

That's not a bonus. That's just a reduction in cost.
That's like giving tanks a bonus to fitting large turrets.
There's no-one to compete with in that items use.
Also one of the current problems is that sentinels have WAY too much PG and CPU. One of these days I'll take a screen shot.
As I'm not sure if people believe me, but basically a Gal sentinel can fit all proto weapons and mods without any SP in Core, Electronics or Engineering.

It would also mean that proto Light weapons fitting cost would be balanced for the Assault suit and non-Assault suits would have a tougher time fitting proto weapons and brick tanking at the same time.
At least that is what I took away from it, I might be misinterpreting.

Yeah, it kinda falls apart when Gal-Logi get a precision bonus because it sets the target number on dB from 15 to 20. IMO Either Precision/Profile or Enhancer/Dampener needs to be staggered and not both.

QQ My Min Scout with a single enhanced KinCat was slower than your 3x cKinCat suit. This totally is not fair  why can you move faster than me?! I'm a Minmatar Scout you aren't allowed to do that. I demand a speed buff! I demand a bonus to kincats! It's not fair!

What should I do after I land the first shot.? Strafe like a mad man and hope he doesnt hit me? jump over him? Run away and shotgun him again when his back is turned? |

Oh I don't really have a problem with him personally. He just complains about scouts nonstop when especially at this point stealth is a very easy thing to counter outside of a gal should you have the inclination.
His denial that I've knifed him on several occasions is pretty funny. I mean, I don't expect every person to remember me personally knifing them but come on. Hubris at it's best.

We were just talking about knives earlier. . . Although both are all about being up-close and personal the fitting philosophy on them is very different. With Ishukone Nova Knives a full charge with both swipes can kill almost any medium frame, So having the speed to get in there is very important.
With the shotgun. STD suits and scouts are really the only people you're going to kill in 1 shot.
Both Speed or Stealth works, but both together don't really help you out.
IMO try swapping the Kin-Cats for complex ferroscale plates
Or drop the Damps and use plates
Also remember to be visually aware. Each tier suit has a different color to is. the whiter the gal/min/amarr assault is the more you want to stay away. The darker the Cal suit the more you want to stay away. Etc.
pick your targets carefully then run away

Your fit is good! Logi+Heavy piles are the new norm and are tough to shotgun.
Would recommend luring into RE traps instead ...
* Place a couple REs in a choke point.
* Use your ScP to place a few headshots from afar.
* Once you have their attention, "run away".
* If they pursue, you win. If they ignore, repeat.
