I lost track after the first day, but was just running my alt for the majority of the time, so it was always with knives. I'll be happy with whatever I get, kinda a fun surprise.

what would you guys think if nova knives had a ballistic function added to them? pressing L1 or whatever aiming button brings them up for throwing. you throw one at a time, and can charge them for a 3x damage bonus, with R1, or just tap R1 to release them. They would fly about 8 meters and then go on an exponentially lower downward path (similar to a half parabola inverted over the x axis). When the knives miss, they are marked on your mini map and on the ground with a blue glow like that of equipment, and can be picked up and retrieved. If they kill the enemy on the first or second knife, the knives fall where the enemy died. If not, they pop out of the enemy after one second for retreival. When you die, the knives despawn themselves. After throwing one, you must press L1 again and a short animation must occur before the second kinfe can be thrown, the animation duration could be on the order of like .1 seconds, just to prevent spam and keep them balanced. The knives are not a separate variant, but just gain another function. Any other questions and I'd be happy to answer them. Thoughts?

The throwing function is still a lot weaker than throwing, it just allows you to snipe backpedalers and casuses people to fear nova knifers instead of just backpedaling while holding down R1, and allows knifers an option for a weak attack with a tiny bit of range

It's a problem for both these weapons I used to run just NK fits exclusively, added a sidearm just for these occasions. This account I run a ScP (often Breach, but sometimes others), my Minja runs the Flaylock, cause it's more badass

But those marathon ladsGǪ I have had luck running up beside them get a little (very little) ahead of them turn as you charge. They will be turning towards you to figure out why they just saw and >snickit< and follow with quick slash. If you are Minja it will get most, if you are Gal with less than optimized damage, you may have to deal with back peddling. (Wasn't I supposed to tell this stuff to Matti )
