What a troll. An advanced weapon should be inferior than a proto suit, but even a basic AR prof 5 and 2 damage mods take down a proto logistics easily. A proto suit bearer shouldn't still be alive 12 sniper rounds later.

You make a poor argument. We already know AR >> ALL. So that is invalid.

You also dont give any data(?) to compare how a proto sniper weapon would have faired against the proto suit.
You said you were only using ADV gear.
If a proto sniper weapon (not including the Ishukone, because that.. .. that's just junk).. also failed against the suit, then there would be more legitimate cause for complaint.

Sounds like you're just sore that YOU couldnt take down the opponent, rather than giving a balanced look at the issue.

To implement a bonus to equipment would require a new role bonus for gallente logi. They already have that role bonus. The different logi needs role bonus TO their equipment but there are currently technical limitations that ccp haven't solved yet.

The truth is none of the role bonuses even provide that big of a benefit. So it's all about the fitting abilities of the suits, which is the root cause of the issues. That and the ability to stack so many tanking mods.

Scouts are really UP because the lack of pg/CPU and slots.

It's actually pretty rare people use a suit for its role bonus....and that's saying something.

I just stated that it would be cool to have a third side arm (1 light +2 sidearms), and this was off of a joke thread to begin with.

Are sure you haven't maxed out earning proto knives yet? If anyone could hit 1k Zn kills by now it'd have to be you. You should switch back to ishnoks and earn dem fancy pink suits to sell later.

I'm taking a break from Dust.

For two reasons:

Reason 1: Finals. Yep. They will be here in two weeks.

Reason 2: I'm getting super pissed off by the game the last two days. I literally almost threw my controller against the wall. For the record, I have only thrown my controller once in all my years of FPS gaming, and that was playing this game. 700+ hours of BF3, and I didn't feel like throwing it even once. FFS, the last two days, I have only been able to get good scores by being suicidal and driving my death count up. Two games this week were I got 30 kills at the cost of 20 odd deaths. The proto stompers are out in full force, and I have had difficulty finding a good squad to play with. So I was forced to solo or play with randoms. All in all, not a very good few days, so I'm taking a break.

I think I'll just play a bunch of Tales of Xillia and Fallout: New Vegas until 1.7 drops. If 1.7 sucks and the CR sucks, I'm gonna aurum reset my character, put all of my AUR into passive boosters, pre-order Destiny, and wait until they freaking fix this game.

Honestly I'm hoping they keep the light weapon, I don't need nerf scrambler pistol threads all over the forums because a logi is stacking damage mods and slaughtering people with my beloved pistol. Let em keep light weapons keep my skill shot weapon on the DL

A very fun game! glad to know someone else appreciates teh Tales of Series. I love all of them.
