I desperately want to run my Assaults again. Saddeningly, I'm counting down the days to the end of my marathon like a child counts down the days for Christmas. Everything just feels so boring now; so monotonous. Running my Minja is really feeling like a chore now, as is writing my blog. I just need to spice my gameplay up. I keep making Assault fits on Protofits, and I've been imagining what it would be like to run a Cal Assault. On Protofits, I made a fit that had over 600 Shields, a 2 second regen delay, and regen at 52HP/second. Now, that's a fit I'd love to run! Don't get me wrong: the Min Scout is a a fantastic suit, and it's a hell of a lot of fun to run, but running it exclusively for so long makes it really boring... It's OBSCENELY high. Ah, my old tank busting fit which IMO is now obsolete. Can't deploy enough remotes on an advanced fit and those blasters are too deadly. You could sacrifice shields for myofibs. Blasters cant hit you if you're on TOP of the tank.

There's also the question of what to do for WP; AM Scout recon loadouts are no where near as combat viable as Logi recon loadouts. true enough. there is one thing that the amarr scout is indispensible for: being first-to-point. 3xcomplex kincats, plus the inherent stamina bonus, gets you to objectves reaaalaly fast. I've gotten TWO objectives before enemy team has gotten one, in some cases. But once you've done that and dropped uplinks.. other fits are probably better. And, it doesnt require proto scout to do the above.

One reason I hate remotes now is that they pop all your other equipment (links in my case). This can cause issues if i'm the only one doing links in the outside points and reduces my WP / ISK. You can always rebind. I know that puppeteer scheme has melee on the R2 button. It just makes switching equipment hell, as you have to hold R3 to do so.
