Hang on... iirc, the description of NK's said that the charge came from manipulating gravity or something; I don't remember it mentioning plasma... I might be wrong though. it's definitely plasma. You get a nicely cauterized wound with that distinctive sizzle when a chubby's guts pour out, not a crushing injury as found with gravity weapons. But it's whatever's in the description that matters. I always thought of that like the charge is a power supply, and supplies the power to generate the plasma energy on the blade. I don't know if I'm making sense, I've read these words too many times now.

Yeah gotta say after initially wondering when I would use them instead of complex mods, Jebus got me thinking after showing you could stack em and how they're far less CPU/PG intensive. I had some ADV MinScout fits where I had an empty 3rd high slot. I could only fit a STD rifle. But if I fit 3x Krin's instead of 2x CDMs, I have enough CPU/PG left over to upgrade the gun to ADV. I believe without having done the maths that my damage output has only decreased a little, and with the gun upgrade, possibly not at all or even gone up. [edit] Add to this the fact it boosts sidearm damage too, which is pretty damn nice when donning knives, then it feels like a good fit. Really wish there was a DPS stat on the suits along with working damage profile stats. Also wish there was 3 categories of EWAR for each concentric circle......but that's another (user) story.

It also feels like uphill leap-kills (normally not possible) could suddenly become a thing. On the downside, it's very hard for me to get used to running without ewar. I am far too used to having 2 Precision Enhancers. I suppose I should also force myself to run no precision mods for a few weeks and see if it changes my way of thinking or play style at all. Hopefully more to share later ! Know what cannot be known.

Hopefully more to share later ! Did fairly well running 2 Blue + 1 Red on MinScout last night. Gonna have to try 1 Blue + 2 Red. Are you having any issues yet with med-frames picking you up on passives and launching away when you get into range? Agreed on scan precision; picking up meds at medium range comes in handy. Live testing experience: Some yahoos kept whipping out proto scanners in freakin ambush, for the 5m event. Was pissing me off in my (c scout rank 5) caldari scout with 2xcomplex damps. profile @16dB according to fitting screen. Nothing more I could do since even proto gets only two lows So I fell back to my BPO galente valor scout (g.scout rank 1?). Put 3xBPO militia damps in it (AHAHAHAHAHA) fitting screen said it was @15dB profile. dodged the scans. So, now having 15dB on stat screen, lets you dodge 15Db scans, apparently. Kinda pisses me off when my zero-cost all-BPO suit is more stealthy than my 100K all-proto suit
