Aye It does excellent with that aspect now though, so either changes to how existing stats work or a whole new bonus may be in order. Another option would be to increase Range Extenders effectiveness to make the precision bonus cover a useful area, and/or one of the stamina changes. Personally I think range extenders are almost useless in their current form, and Fall damage needs a looking at so I lean towards those changes. As a note I run all four scout suitsGǪ Amarr is in the worst place, but is not as bad off as the Minja once was. It is a closer fix to balance at this point in the game than we have ever seen. Or so I see it. Wait, the Minja was bad once?! Tell me more.

We are also using the opportunity to work on a active duration/cooldown jump pack equipment, like cloaks. Those would be more in the vein of Tribes or a traditional jump-pack ala 40k.

jump height is a factor of speed, which is a factor of plate stacking, therefore, bricks jump lower

Minscouts jumping on top of big containers is the most glorious idea.
This would mean that you'd be able to jump onto the walkways in the Caldari production facility cliff building, or jump up from the Gal facility up to where people normally camp the two reactor things, or get onto the roofs on line harvest without using hte ladders, or allow jumps up onto the central walkway in Ashlands, etc.
Myofibrils will reduce fall damage as well right?

And you're dodging the question re:sprint speed hard cap XD I tried damp and speed tanking a proto gal assault, terrible for anything except shotgun if lucky. Couldn't take on other assaults with a rifle or anything because the speed differences were too low. I couldn't get out of dodge if needed. Was really only a threat to scouts. (Speed + Plates worked fine though, no surprises there).

All of my yes. I would love it if my Gallente Assault was a bit more mobile considering the range implications of Gallente weaponry. Would totally fit some kind of active jump boost module if such a thing existed just so I never had to kitten with ladders ever again (the #1 reason of stupid deaths).
Exciting times if Assaults get a bonus to Myrofibrals.

If memory serves it's because the animation will break if the model goes any faster.
EDIT: Would also like to take the opportunity to mention that we should probably put some clarification that Myrofibrals do not apply to Nova Knives, despite them technically being melee weapons. This is sort of confusing to players who are a bit newer to their use.

But again, I raise my concerns on it becoming speed+tank. I'm glad sentinels don't have an equipment slot for the proposed jump pack.

Chicken or the egg sort of thing. Kincats breaking the broken HD or broken HD being multiplied by Kincats? Replication had issues with scouts because they could literally become invulnerable through strafing and I don't think that Kincats affected strafe-speed then...

On the topic: been running a complex melee mod on a scout, even melee killed a few cocky assault guys, if there's another benefit to them that would be great however the problems with hit detection made er very touch and go.
A no damage melee hit is time wasted, time that could have been used to apply more damage via weapons or to escape, ya know.
By the way, any updates on that cloak override bug?
