Many people, particularly when they first start Knifing go for the Static style
Cutting up the stationary targets
Victims are Snipers, people hacking objects, standing in doorways (why they do this I will never understand)

Speed cutting is probably what I do mostGÇª Never stop moving. Around corners, off catwalks, constantly hunting people down. Damage is huge for this because It's not often you get a full charge hit. Lot's of run up beside and angle slashing. Quick turn for the hit after getting a bit in front of them. This requires using their field of view against them. People packing Plasma Canons are easy victims from the right side.

Raptor is a great move chasing down those suits who move fast, and are all alone. people know this one pretty well i think

Opportunist strikes are pretty common as well. This is just relying on stealth and victims simply being unaware of your presence. I think this happens a lot and is the natural progression from the hitting stationary targets. Many a Gal Knifer uses this technique, and can be accomplished without speed fairly easily in large socket settings.

(spitballing) ... + Increase base movement speed when NKs are equipped + Instant clone termination on takedown (silences shared passives) + Set NK stun_on_hit to a high value (interrupts the insta-spin) Even if NKs end up fine ... + Reduce backpedal speed.

Another fix I would like to see is an increase to minnie scout walk speed, but I don't know if walk speed and sprint speed are values that can be adjusted independently. A wider swing arc on KNs would also be great. And we agree that backpedal speed should be reduced, regardless what happens like Quil says. My concerns have nothing to do with damage, so I have no problem with where they are in terms of damage. My issues are with circumstances surrounding knifing and how they will be changing in 1.10, how it is very dampening dependent, is more greatly affected by the small field of vision than any other weapon, unbeatable short range scans, super duper squishiness, and shared passives. IF Nova Knives as a playstyle needs something in 1.10, these ideas are great! I'm not fond of a backstab bonus, its the easiest place to hit them, it deserves no critical hit.

When you kill one, they will all turn around whether you are on TACNET or not. I am guilty of taking advantage of my target's silence hundreds of times. That will soon change, but hopefully will prepare me for a much higher caliber of opponent.
