If a Logistics wants to live longer then they need to bring armor repair nanohives or simply stay away from the frontlines. Assaults need to be able to get in and get out effectively, and if Logistics can repair faster than they can, then I foresee another rise of Slayer Logistics. Assaults might do the "slaying" job more effectively but survivability is key. If two players of equal skill get into a fight and both retreat at the same time, the first person to get repairs will eventually win out.
The Assault HP buff and slot buff assured this won't happen again.

The maps used in PC all cater to Sentinel+HMG in at least 1 location, per match. Sometimes more depending on which SI spawn for the outside points, and Biomass complex is just great for that weapon, also great for shotgun because of so many places to hide
How everything just keeps getting more and more HP is really an issue. 1700HP Sentinels with reptools giving them 2-3 extra second of life while under sustained fire. And map advantage too keep anyone from firing upon them from outside their effective range.
It'd be great if there was some sort of weapon with high alpha damage and long range that could kill, or at least weaken, such suits from afar. . . I think there might be something like that, but then the developers went out of their way to make sure that weapon couldn't be used in that exact fashion by putting in walls, rotating structures, or changing surfaces textures so that couldn't happen/

I used to melee uplinks all the time. Its likely just standard hit detection problems with the shotgun, par for the course.

Personally I'd vouch for each weapon only have one variant per weapon at standard while the others are unlocked at advanced. But then, the other weapons would need more than one variant. Gave me something to skill towards, a reason for that level 4, otherwise I wouldn't have bothered going past 3. I'd also choose the allies variant as the one at standard, so a Std Burst Ar, Std Assault Combat Rifle, Std Tactical Rail Rifle (if it ever existed) and so on.
But I wouldn't be bothered too much by a change.

SISI is the test server. Usually they bring things onto SISI to let players mess around with them before the changes go live on TQ.
It could be for Legion, it could also not be for Legion. My Magic Crystal Ball is no better than anyone else.
Personally I think it was put there as a placeholder item by CCP Blowout, just a gentle little troll to convey the message that yes he still likes us enough to troll us every once in a while.

This is 100% correct. When you have three sentinels on a point with a logi, the only way to kill them is to spam sentinels right back at them, or with an RE. The reason assaults aren't used that frequently in pc is because of the maps. The majority of fighting is in cqc where shotguns and hmgs thrive.
