Got super po'd. Insulted that other members mother. Then quit the corp and joined Pure Evil

Came here for FPS, stayed for the drama.

That was one of the only fun things about a no show.
Some1 always ended up getting tked.

Sometimes that person had a pure aur suit on.

Lesson to be learned, don't fit it if you can't lose it.

I saw many thales and aur suits taken away in no shows, I stuck to an adv gal scout If the other team had 5 or less people.

Meh, forget about running proto suits. I normally run advanced and it works just great. OR the aur suits from the NK event. I still have 175 or so of those. The extra 5% dmg to NKs is nice, but overall its a huge SP climb to get proto for something you likely won't use that frequently. I normally just feel bad running proto unless its a real close game. I've ran proto probably a grand total of 50 times outside of PC in the two years I have been playing.

No isk rewards so its perfect for my bpo fittings and seemed to have less proto than pubs.

Gal has a light weapon plus side, *both* at proto, and can fit some equipment
Min has two side-arms, one proto, one ADV, and no room for squat all else :(

Don't know what they look like at standard and advanced, but that for me is still a massive issue. Admittedly I think the minnie needs to be going out with some EWAR, which reduces the problem somewhat as EWAR is CPU heavy, but it should be able to do better than this shouldn't it?


Bolt Pistol

Great for scouts using a close range main. I skilled all the way into it because it has the longest range of all side-arms and complements shotgun shield damage with armour damage. That said, interestingly enough I don't use it any more coz I think I will forever be in love with the scrambler pistol LOL. That and most of my engagements are close range and the Bolt really isn't any good up close and personal.


Logis

Touching on the logi debate, Cross if you read this, I will again mention my wildcard idea (#3 below) of situational damage resists for logis seeing as I did apparently understand some of the problem context originally when you asked :)

Logis
1. area denial
2. area shielding (new mechanic / item(s))
3. squad-based damage resists (assaults + heavies in squad *and* in proximity grant resistance bonus)
4. mobile CRU abilities (this sounds very interesting)

Minmatar Scout can perform in PC now. It's a huge step up. I actually think it's one of the best scout suits for outside point assault now.

Since it has a great base hack speed, it's fantastic for taking points. I can be damped and hack a point in very little time. I have a suit made that places links outside of the point, cloaks up, and then slowly moves up. I wait until I see my chance, and then sprint up to the objective and hack it.

Once the hack is off, they are on the defense. It takes so long to counter hack, that it doesn't matter if I get killed. I can spawn back in and kill them on the re-hack. It's great for forcing people to pull people back to defend objectives.

However, it doesn't compare to the Gal scout for City Assault. Gal scout still has more armor and staying power. It's by no means as powerful a suit as the Gal Scout, but it is viable in PC again, which is a HUGE step up.

EDIT: That first scout isn't even damped. Hell NEITHER scout is damped.

Try this suit for the Minmatar Scout

2x Complex Shields
1x Complex Mybo

Duvolle Specialist Shotgun
Basic SMG
Basic Flux

F/45 RE
Ishukone Cloak

2x Damp
1x Complex Speed

I don't care about the basic sidearm, it's a finisher, nothing more. This suit has enough speed, health, and damps to do it's job, with RE's and Shotgun making up most of it's killing potential. This is the suit I use in PC. I would use a complex precision over the Mybo, but I don't have precision to V yet

Disagree with one major point: Minmatar Commando does not give a significant enough bonus to swarm launchers to make it a better choice. You get an extra 18.04% from 3 damage mods or 24.3% from 2 damage mods and a Minmatar commando bonus. As an Alpha Strike Damage weapon with only 3 shots in the clip the difference in damage isn't enough to change the number of shots to kill.

The Bolt Pistol has a faster rate of fire and higher damage than the Breach Scrambler Pistol. Ghost speaks of making the Bolt Pistol OP. Only really terrible aspect of it is 6 shots per clip.

Really showing ignorance about the sidearms. "I don't use it but..." is not a line you should speak, that's basically a warning to yourself to hold your tongue on the topic.

Ghost only sounds accurate because he's got IWS his opposite who is just an embarrassment to humanity.


Sad to see Leither take that stance. Iron Wolf Saber thought he had a good idea, and spoke to other CPM1 members, and they decided they should talk about it to CCP before talking about it with the players. . . the hallmark of being representatives right there.
