Bojo's Morrowind Diary
Dear Ghost Kaisar,
I open with this:
Morrowind wrote:You have Ascended to Level 11 Being Smart doesn't hurt. And a little luck now and then is nice. But the key is patience and hard work. And when it pays off, it's SWEET!
I am in the process of raiding the dunmer stronghold Hlormaren. I always thought they were witch cities..... anyways I've slaughtered everyone I've had to in the main complex. Looted a **** ton of stuff. Had a close call with a guy who had a Glass Jinksblade. Jinksblades, for those who know not, paralyze you. The cool thing about dunmer strongholds is that they have the propylon chambers. The propylon chambers allow you to transport between certain stronghold to certain stronghold as long as you have the propylon index, the key in essence. Right now I looted the Andasreth index. I would love to check it out but I have far too much loot to continue my adventure to another place. I am conveniently just west of Balmora, my base of operations really. I'm heading back there now, Gold plentiful will flow into my pockets.
Peace, Bojo

Dear Llast,
I found myself in Ivarstead, trying to help some young filly sort out her love life for the Priestess at the Temple of Mara in Riften... I know, given the turns my life has taken, it seems an odd thing to concern myself with. I just felt like if I didn't see something more than blood and thunder, I might lose myself in the beast. I needed a touchstone of normalcy and sanity. Skyrim is a place of madness!
But since I was in Ivarstead, I looked up at the mountain, rising into the clouds... at the Seven Thousand Steps. The Greybeards had Shouted a summons. I'd been avoiding it, but now I was there... it seemed wrong not to go and see what it all means. And as I rode Frost across the bridge to the base of the stairway to High Hrothgar, I realized I truly wanted to know. Why could I sort of understand the dragons' Shouts. Why had I been filled with the power of the dragon I'd slain west of Whiterun? Maybe they could tell me. And they did. They even taught me more. The Imperials still want me to join. I don't know about that... it seems to me that if the gods have given me such a powerful gift, there must be more to it than helping on faction of humans best another faction of humans.
That's one thing the Greybeards couldn't tell me: what it all means.
Oh, and I found this girl that Sibbi Black-briar guy was looking for. She was singing and playing lute at the inn in Ivarstead. I went back and told the jerk she'd fled to Morrowind. She should be safe, now. At least, for a while... I hope that should he ever find her, she can find a way to get word to me. She seemed a sweet enough girl... for a human. And I'd love to smash his head in with my warhammer.

Dear Matti
Apparently the booming thunder voice I couldn't hear was some famous beardy-blokes calling to me. I have to go up about a jazillion steps round a mountain to go find them. I set off, and after a few steps, notice a ittle altar-type thingy with an inscription etched into it. I read this and it's clearly some sort of riddled advice or wotnot, so I don't think much of it. A little further into my journey, and I come across another of these things. So I think hmm ok, this climb is so boring that I guess I can read these as I ascend and mull over what they might mean.
So climbing, climbing, climbing, wolf attack, roast-wolf, wolf-attack, roast-wolf, it goes on, and I come across a third altar. There is a huntress meditating in front of it. It's not Aela :( Anyway I push in front of her to read the inscription - something about dragons. As soon as have I finished reading it, there is an almighty roar and the earth moves. A MASSIVE dragon appears, eats the huntress, and about ten seconds later, after I've fired off a couple of fireballs and missed, I too am dead and reloading from a save. Still - at least it wasn't Aela, so I guess that's something.
Goddamit I'm back at the bottom of the steps. Meh. Ok here we go again. First altar, read inscription, steps, wolf, steps, wolf, 2nd altar, read inscription, steps, wolf, wolf, steps, meh not Aela, read inscription - OHHH **** THE ******* DRAGON HAS KILLED ME AGAIN, DID I SAVE RECENTLY??????? ARRRGGGHHH
Ahh it's ok I'm right at the third altar again. Ok what the hell, do I have a balancing mod installed, I don't remember it being this hard. It's not like DUST has spoilt my gun-game that I don't have - Skyrim isn't like that. Hmmm...to lower the difficulty...or not. Ok let's try this again, see if I can somehow get past the dragon. I choose not to read the inscription this time...ok that's weird, no dragon, I'm back to steps, steps, wolf, etc.
I climb over the rocks where I know that pesky ice troll lives, coz I'll be buggered if I'm gonna die again, and finally, after many more steps, couple more wolves and (unread) altars, I get to the greybeards hideout.
At this point my attention span has reached it's hour limit, so I save and ditch. Tomorrow, I will see what these guys want with me.
Yours truly, Duncan

Dear Diary, I think I've figured it out. The reasons I feel like I can be stuck within some sort of time loop is not, in fact, a distortion of physical laws, but my enhanced specialization in clairvoyancy. My previous plight of sending waves of fire at people and watching them shrug it off as if it were nothing have mostly been resolved. I've actually learned a new trick. Concentrating the flame and "throwing" it amplifies the effects, although it is more draining. I spent a few days refining it further. I must say, I thought my previous skills were impressive, and they were for combat level of someone that's never left a city, but these unrefined lands demand more power and less finesse.
I hate to admit it, but it is very easy for me to lose my way without any landmarks. This vast wilderness has nothing I can use, no stores, no street signs, no towers. Some how in an attempt to head West to the Thalmor Embassy I arrived in Whiterun. From there I found a cart service. I requested a ride to Solitude.
I have such terrible luck with these things here. I truly wish I knew why I was here. Things just keep getting worse and worse.
The moment I stepped foot into a city loyal to the Empire there was a public execution in progress. I wanted to get a better look, but I got too close and offended someone's sensibilities. The entire town's guard decided I had committed a crime and tried to kill me!
I eventually had to flee. I'm still not sure why, but I ended up doing that favor for that pompous court wizard. I thought I had gone crazy, because when I made it to the location of this 'dragon stone' I also found this orb. It started talking to me and wanted me to return it to a pedestal.
Oops, I'm getting ahead of myself. On my way out of Solitude I finally found the Embassy. I sat there crying for a few minutes after I looked around and found the place locked up and seemingly abandoned.
I took the time untilt he cold started getting to me before I finally stopped. That's when I encountered the shrine. A Daedric Prince was the one that had called out to me. I did her bidding, not having much choice, and cleared out her temple. I, think I am ok with this. I was even rewarded with a weapon to fend off the undead.
I think it's time I make it back to an inn to sleep. There's a lot I have to think about tonight.
Am I the same person I was when I got here? GÖá Jess

I've played all 3 games, i can't tell what is the best, they are all very good in my opinion, but i can say that DS2 is the less stressful. They have eliminated some mechanics which were a little frustrating.

I honestly feel that Demon's is the superior game in most regards, but Dark Souls 2 is a tad more polished. One of Ds 2's biggest problem is that it's difficult to know where you're meant to be going and what you're meant to be doing. Demon's has it's locations separated better and has a much better sense of "This is where I have to go and this is what I should be doing" (Haven't actually played Dark souls 1) Also, Demon's locations and enemies feel more diverse despite there technically being a lesser number.

They have eliminated some mechanics which were a little frustrating. I found demons to be the best 'experience', but it was unbalanced and flawed in some ways that make it very frustrating. The games are meant to be hard, but not because of poor coding.
DS2, on the other hand, goes a but to far the other way. The polish is great, but it artificially gates alot of the experience and many of the fights revolve around hp and damage, instead of mechanics. I think they may have over simplified in this case.
I'd actually recommend DS1 as a starting point. Its kind of a middle ground between the ploish of DS2 and the raw gameplay and exploration of demons, and the expansion adds a lot to it. That said...**** blighttown.

Here you have all this sense of honourable combat and it's more of a duel. Back in demon's you had to hunt that mo'fo down. And when being invaded you could use any phantoms you may have had to set traps for them, like having them hide just behind something as they walked by.

Dark Souls 2 time with the Spade. Now with 10'000% more dead things
This quest has left me...weary. Each step I take feels more difficult than the last. But I have faith, I believe in my abilities to see this through to the end. I will not give up. My journey takes me through the undead crypt in an attempt to reach the Kings tomb.
Having defeated the frog-demon, I pass through a cave and follow a submerged path to an impressive door. Opening it, I find an elevator which leads me down further, to the Crypt. I step off to find an imposing staircase leading me inside. As I enter a multitude of spell casters assault me, to no avail. Further ahead a voice calls out, telling me not to produce light. He then speaks of how his people embrace death, and how it is fruitless to try reclaim what has already passed beyond. I couldn't disagree more, he speaks as one who has been beaten down. But my will shall never be broken.
I leave him to his musings and discover a bridge across a gaping chasm. A group of those Royal Knights stand in my way. Could they be protecting the king? From what I wonder...regardless, they stand in my way and so they must fall. Past these is an archway that leads to a room full of unmarked graves. Before I could inspect any of them, bodies rose up out of several of them. Each I cut down was replaced by another until I destroyed the graves themselves. With this knowledge I slay more and defile the headstones, but then I hear a bell ringing, and spirits emerge from statues. As with the bodies, they kept coming until I destroyed the statues and killed the hollows ringing the bells.
Another archway leads to yet more graves and statues, but as I strike a sorcerer ambushes me. I never did have the patience for these vile magic users. Clearly lacking in anything that might resemble intelligence, it falls down to my level to be swiftly cut down. Continuing on, I enter a room in which a dark phantom attacked me. These pests should know better than to attack me head on. Swiftly punching the phantom into submission, I find myself in a long hallway. As I walk down, spirits emerge from the walls in opposition to me. They hardly scratch the paint off my armour.
Further down the hall way are two tall knights, each wielding two tower shields. The clumsiness of their attack requires nothing more than simple timing. Behind these is a hole, a short fall later and I find myself in another room full of graves, bells and statues. Clearing this room, I leave the room to discover that I am now at the other side of the chasm. I make my around to a huge archway leading down into a Grand Hall. With a plethora of knights at the other end, I deduce that I must be closing in on my destination. I walk down the hallway and then I hear it, that infernal ringing. Just as I do, a horde of spirits emerge and I defend myself whist making my way back. Under the staircase I find a hollow and a bell. I take my revenge on him and then the spirits, after which a mercilessly charge at and slay the knights. And I enter a large misty door to find the Royal Aegis, Velstadt.
Before I can contemplate why he's here, he charges me with his hammer. My shield takes the brunt of the force, leaving him open long enough for me to strike back. He's speeds around me, trying to catch me off guard, but I manage to react to the majority of his attacks. The fight goes on and he weakens. He takes a step back and prepares to cast a spell. I use this opportunity to strike with the halberd, gravely wounding him and disengaging in time to defend against his spell. He then leaps at me and I deliver the final blow.
Behind where he stood lies the tomb, and as I enter I see him, King Vendrick. What was the Aegis defending him against? Surely not me, he's been here longer than that. I observe the King, a husk of the man he once was, wondering aimlessly in a circle. He doesn't even seem to notice me. As I prepare for battle I hear these...voices, messages, telling me that I'm not ready, that I'm not strong enough. I heed them, for now, and pick up the King's ring.
I feel that I have as of yet unfinished business outside the castle, and perhaps with this ring I access those curious doors I had spotted before. It seems my journey is a long way from being complete.

Bojo's Morrowind Diary
Dear Ghost Kaisar,
I went to Andusreth using the propylon. I killed people on the first floor, loot-baby-loot, went to the second floor and killed a mage and a warrior then fuuuuuuuuck. Two spellswords ****** me good. There was cool loot on that floor but I couldn't take the two on again. So I left Andusreth and decided, "I'm gonna find that damn lost trader. Remember him? The trader who got lost on his way to Maar Gan? Well I found him hiding in a tomb to the southwest of Maar Gan. SCORE! Got him back to Maar Gan and took the silt strider back to Ald-ruhn. I then went to Balmora.
My mission was to kick some ass. A house Hlaalu member had stolen a helm from a Redoran tomb that had significance to my house. I was to taunt him, to make him strike first, then pop a spear in his ass and make back with the helmet. Mission : Accomplished.
Get back to Ald-ruhn and guess what I get to do? That ******* GUAR HERDER NEEDS HELP AGAIN! At least this time I know vaguely where she is. This ***** needs a crossbow or something because first mudcrabs were killing her guar and now bandits were stealing them. The bandits were holed up in a tomb. Just two of them, pop pop. Go back to the herder and she's all like "I suppose you want some Hackle-Lo leaf" ....... I'm like, "hell yeah I wan't some god damn hackle lo leaf!"
I'm back at the Redoran council chamber and I finally start getting some kickass missions. I am ordered to guard councilor Athyn Sarethi. I get to his place and he's standing right next to two dead guards. My first thought was "I bet this ******* councilor did it....yeah, yeah, he's a ******* Hlaalu traitor deep down I can smell this piece of ****"
Well I was wrong. Two assassins came out of the woodwork. Apparently the councilor is packing, he whips out a long sword and we beat the living daylights out of these guys. Note to assassins: next time don't use short swords and chitin armor.
I get back to the council hall and I get paid money this time! Yay! \o/ . She tells me "Well I got no more duties for ya Bojo. What you can do is seek sponsorship from a councilor."
I go door to door, judging each councilor by their house. The cool ones have trees in the entrance. But only one would offer to sponsor me. It was the same guy I saved. He tells me he will sponsor me if I save his son who is being held hostage by another councilor.
I go to the other councilor's house and investigate.........yeah **** I can't find the kid. Had to wiki this **** . So then I find him and save. Then I bust out!. I get him out of the right wing and into the entrance hall but then the god damn guards beat the **** out of me and him. I died once and he died twice. I finally had to lower the difficulty just to unscrew myself because I had already saved as I was busting him out.
I saved him and brought him back to his pa. Athyn Sarethi has now sponsored me!
I really have gained a reputation now. It's at three and everybody who's Redoran loves me.
I am Bojo The Mighty, hear me Roar!
