lol, or CCP is so ******* stupid they pulled logibro and rattati away from DUST to work on something for EVE/Valkyrie/Legion after there was a publication about how terrible they are at management.

Yeah, pretty much all of the group I play with on a regular now, came from dust. Was a pretty sweet end to a close game.

Everything has been a whirlwind since the rangers took us in. They tore our belongings apart, confiscated our weapons, and dressed us up like them. They said I can keep a journal as long as it doesnGÇÖt contain any information that could compromise them, and it was subject to review at any time. So given thatGǪ a big **** YOU to whomever else is reading my words.
Yours truly, Mol
August 5th, 2044
The General.. since I canGÇÖt mention his name, weGÇÖll just call him Boss. So we meet our new Boss. He basically breaks everything down for us. We are the most heavily armed non-raiders theyGÇÖve seen in a long time. Truth was, the rangers were more of a legend at this point. One that was failing and cracking apart at the seams. Were it not for their stronghold, they would have been over ran and slaughtered long ago. Most of the original rangers are dead. They are down to the ammo their dwindling scouting parties bring back. They only have a few rifles left that work. He was painting a very bleak picture for us.
Over time, in a bid to strengthen their numbers, the rangers had to start recruiting. But it was tough to find people whoGÇÖd make good rangers. Most everyone surrounding them were just plain townsfolk, farmers, etc. Other than that, there were two large groups of raiders operating in the area. not to mention the drifters that meant no good. So sometimes bad elements would inevitably work their way in and cause damage. The worst damage, however, was to the rangers reputation with the surrounding communities. New rangers committing unspeakable crimes. Then having to take rangers away from pressing emergencies to hunt these newly armed dangerous rogue rangers down before they did anymore damage.
They use a series of terrestrial radio antennas to keep in touch with the surrounding communities. This is how they render aid, be it an armed response, or bagging sand when the floods threaten crops. Even rescuing domestic animals! Surrounding them were mountains that kept the fallout particles from enveloping them. There were pockets of habitable areas that allowed crops to flourish as well as a large source of water the region shared. Typically, even the raiders would leave it alone like some kind of parasite allowing itGÇÖs hosts to live. But recently a radio transmission was received. The Boss wouldnGÇÖt tell me what it had said but he looked ashen. And then about ten days ago, the fist antenna went dead. Then a week ago, another antenna went dark. The first antenna was on the edge of their coverage, about 100 miles away. The second was only 30 miles away. They had sent a scouting party with their best rangers, and they all disappeared. They only found the body of one who was tortured and mutilated and clearly left as a message. And worse of all, just yesterday the two biggest communities each hosting the last two antennas reported being attacked simultaneously. And now they are blind. So he laid his hands bare and asked us to help.
We didnGÇÖt give him an answer, but later that night in our tent we had a little bit of a pow wow. We discussed leaving in the middle of the night, even if it meant giving up our stuff. Shotty didnGÇÖt say much. Llast just drank some rotgut he traded for while sitting on his cot grimacing after each sip. Cass was furiously scribbling in the dirt floor. She wrote that we should get out of there. They had nothing to offer us. I mentioned weGÇÖd lost all our stuff? So just walk out into the desert full of raiders and twinkle toe our way out? Sweep of her hand, and then- I thought you and Shotty wanted to go back home. This will just get us killed. Look around. These people are dead. She underlined dead. Why should I die with them? Before I could think of any reason she was wrong a man burst into our tent speaking broken english but we understood doctor doctor doctor. It was obvious he was in a panic, and Shotty finally got it out of him that this wife was having a baby but something was wrong. Shotty grabbed the manGÇÖs arm and allowed him to be led. They took off at a run. Cass and I just looked at each other. She shrugged. I turned and ran to follow before they got out of sight. I heard CassGÇÖ steps following me.
They still hadnGÇÖt let us in the stronghold, an old prison, because we were still recruits. And this was no exception. They brought the manGÇÖs wife out and had set up a tent with a fire. Water in pots were already set waiting to boil. Shotty pushed a midwife aside and dove right in. I guess Cass and I will just wait and see what happens. I knew this deck of cards I found would come in handy. It's missing all the aces though.
August 6th, 2044
Wow! ItGÇÖs the wee early hours of the morning, but thereGÇÖs a healthy baby boy amongst us! It took hours and hours for Shotty to deliver that cry bag. It hadnGÇÖt looked good at all when we first arrived. The woman was clearly in trouble. There was so much blood. But Shotty saved the mom and the baby. During it all Llast had wandered over and passed out, woke up, and got hungover waiting. But he managed to get us some tea from a wandering merchant that happened by. The homemade box had Cavman Tea lovingly carved into the lid. It was awesome stuff and I regretted we were going to run out soon. Shotty was finally relaxing holding the baby smiling down on it. The father came over and hugged Shotty as he handed the baby over. The father, with tears in his eyes repeatedly said thank you thank you before making off announcing his son to everyone. Shotty got up slowly and checked the mother. You could see the exhaustion in him. He gulped his hot tea down all at once, picked up a towel to wipe the blood off his arms, and announced we were staying before walking to the tent without another word and passing out. Cass raised an eyebrow, I just shrugged. Llast was sleeping again. I guess thatGÇÖs it. WeGÇÖre rangers now.
Signing out- Ranger Mol

Dearest Monk,
So I've decided to do some mission running for the Companions to make some MOOLA. The lands around Whiterun seem safer. I can't even make it to Saarthal for the College's first mission - darn Snowy Sabre Cats nail me every time - pretty much OHK me. I refuse to drop the difficulty level. Looking at my list of spells, I have a Fear spell that targets creatures level 9 or less I think. Next time I'm in a fight I don't think I can win, I will try this out. There has to be a way to avoid the fights if I can't win them.
Anyway I'll save that thought - I fast-travelled to Whiterun and ran a mission for Falkor (I realise that's nothing close to his name just now when I spoke to him - but as I write this, I cannot for the life of me remember it). The mission was close to Whiterun and wasn't too difficult. A combination of fireballs, flames and good ole fashioned sword and shield took care of the bandits without too much trouble. I'm actually far more dangerous with the sword but I'm trying to be a mage dammit. I always try to use magic to take down my foes, but my magicka just runs out so fast :(
Which reminds me! I levelled up and was able to put a point into Mage Armour. I still don't have enough (I'm just gonna call "Magicka" "mana" instead coz it's easier to type) -- mana -- to cast Stoneflesh which I bought a couple days ago, so it's Oakflesh for now (+40 armour yo!) and when I removed my light armour - wow! - what a difference. I have far more armour now with the mage armour level 1 (can level it twice more - not sure what I Will get when I do). It's plenty more than the base +40 with other bits of light armour I'd picked up on my travels. Just need to be careful when it runs out I guess. Whooppeee!
Yeah anyway so I went back to Falkor The Lupine for a reward - 100 gold! Not bad for an hour's work. He told me to go talk to Skjor - said he'd been looking for me. Looking around some of my fellow Companions are sitting down to supper by the looks, and OOOHHHH is that Aela? Oh hai...hai...are you? Oooh yeah it's her - she is sitting down eating something.
I sit down next to her to make light conversation....actually all I do is stare at her. She's staring straight back at me with those cool looking face-paints and sexy leathers. I decide to myself that she is far hotter than I realised, and I'm farking stumped for something to say. I'm racking my brains, but I can only engage enough brain to realise she's eating -- something -- what is that? -- out of her hand. For god's sake there's nothing in her hand - she's eating air FFS.
I begin to wonder if she might be not entirely normal, but then remember why I call Falkor "The Lupine" and notice her eyes. Does she have that same blank stare that he does? Is she, too, a werewolf? That might make things -- interesting. **** she's getting up - I scrabble to stand up too and accidentally steal the jug standing in front of me. **** am I about to be attacked by ten Companions at once for picking up a freaking jug? Hmm apparently not - some snide comment from Higflap (Bojo how the hell do you remember nouns from your travels) about "I hope nobody misses that", but that's all. Guess I'll sell it for some mooola...yeah!
I manage to stand up without stealing anything else, and look to see where Aela went. What the - she's sitting down again in the seat next to her previous seat. Psshhhh...something I said? I walk up to her and crouch down in front of her - she is now jabbering whilst giving me that blank stare - continuously repeating the words "There you are" -- "There you are" every five seconds. Damn woman - you carry on eating your invisible food Aela - world of crazy doesn't have room for me right now.
As I back away from her, I bump into Skjor about two seats down at the end of the long wooden table - "There you are" he says. OMG. Maybe it's me who is crazy. Well, Skjor, my hour of adventure is up, and I'm concerned that it might be me who is not in the world of the sane, so I'm saving and ditching. Later on yeah.
Duncan
PS. The italics was hurting my eyes so I stopped scrawling in that fancy font that hurt my hands and am now writing to you like a normal person :) Hope you're having fun.

How do you know I'm not bullshitting them? Well for the most part I've played this game for many hours before and also sometimes I have my computer handy when I'm playing.
Also I find the Companion's quests very dull. Definitely hit up Thieves Guild in Riften.

Dark Souls 2 time with the Spade. I'm sorry, I couldn't hear you over the sound of me absorbing your very existence.
My memory has been...failing me, I find it difficult to recall who I was before I came here. I...don't know where I came from. Why, why am I here? I came in search of a cure to the curse, but what led me to contracting it? How did I even find this place? All I have left from the outside is the ring...the ring, the ring of the King, that should help me. I only hope I can keep my sanity long enough.
In the shaded woods I recall having encountered one of the strange doors, so I return to it and as I approach it...reacts, in some strange way to the ring. A large keep stands before me...Aldia..Aldia's keep, the King's brother. How is it that I know that? I traverse the courtyard riddled with hollowed soldiers. I take no pleasure in killing these, but I have no other choice. Walking into the keep, I see a spirit...I recognise the attire, this man is from Mirrah...Mirrah...I know someone from Mirrah, Lucatiel. Could this be the brother she set out to find? He's not in a friendly mood, that much is certain. We duel and I manage to get the best of him. As I enter the next room, I see this gigantic skeleton. Before I can discern what it is it comes to life and attacks me, though I manage to clear myself of it's bite. Upon closer inspection, it would appear to be the remains of a dragon.
It seems fairly dead now, so I need not worry about it. I scale the imposing staircase upon which it so rudely collapsed and enter a passageway tucked in at the side. Here I discover mirrors, out of which spirits clamber and attack me. I find it tiresome how everything in this godforsaken land wishes to see my head roll. At the other end of the staircase I notice a second passageway, helpful seeing as how the rest of staircase is blocked by a petrified troll. This leads me up above the troll to a Giant Basilisk. I attack it from a distance as I'd rather not be caught within it's petrifying breath. In the room behind it I pull a lever protruding from a dragons mouth which leads me into a large hallway. Caged creatures dangle from the ceilings, I'd rather avoid breaking them out. At the end of the hallway lies a locked door, as I attempt to open in a troll bursts through the wall. It breaks open one of the cages, leaving me to deal with an abomination as well as it. As luck would have it, the abomination recoils from fire, allowing me to dispatch it quickly. The troll was a little trickier, though I manage to best it with my sword.
Behind where the wall used to be is another door, before I can access it a second troll breaks through. These beasts have no originality. Behind the second empty space where there should be a wall lies a curious structure. It appears to be some sort of bird cage, but housing what? And why so big? As I enter the door I discover that it ain't no pigeon, it is in fact a dragon. A fire breathing dragon. I draw my lightning-infused blade and lure it to me. It snaps it's head forward and I strike it. It recoils and flys up into the air, unleashing it's fiery breath. Had I not had my shield it could've proven fatal. It lands and I set to work on it's legs. It stumbles as I strike, allowing me an opportunity to slash the head. The fight goes on and I weaken the great beast. It lunges towards me once more and as it does I thrust forward, connecting my blade with the inside of it's mouth.
The beast lies dead, and this quest tires me ever more.

Installation health is looking sexy. Damage mods are a surprise. I'm liking the small blaster buff, will be interesting to see how it translates. I'm not sure I understand the logic behind the sentinel fitting reduction. No comment on assault hp or slot layout. Are sentinels losing a slot? Increased vehicle recall time, sweet. Increased orbital requirement, also good.
Overall it seems pretty good.

Right now, in my fittings on Appia and on Macha I have a Sentinel A-I with a Boundless HMG, 2 complex armor plates, and a Complex heavy damage modifier. Appia is using the Templar Sentinel and Toxin SMG, while Macha has an ADV SMG. I have not maxed out Core/Engineering/Electronics on Macha and can still fit that.
That is why the Sentinels needed to be changed.
