Destiny is still not much for me other than a distraction. The PVP is a weird. I feel like a noob after playing two games, which was expected. But it seems like the objective is kill stuff, perhaps with a vehicle..... In that sense, what's to learn? And my gear doesn't seem to matter much. So I run around with 5 other squad mates trying to hold 2 of 3 objectives. And none of my deaths matter. In that sense it just seems like a kill spree with little regard to strategy. Although at least TTK isn't horribly low so it's not a twitch fest like other games.
I don't know. I have more fun with the PVE and exploration and goofing off with my squad for a bit of relaxing co-op play. But for PVP dust still has the upper hand by far.
I just wish my scout was as nimble in Dust as my Hunter is in destiny. And throwing knives is pretty swank. I love the double jump as well. And the time out of battle is way more fun. I like jumping off the platform in the city for suicides or looking for cool places to get up to (like the trees in the courtyard, etc....)

Dude does a lot of filming by where I live. I've seen him a few times. I swear I see the streets by my house in a commercial, film or TV show almost every other day. Apparently I live in LA, New York, Philly, Chicago and a bunch of other places. 90% of the film "Crank" was filmed on a two block stretch surrounding the building I now live in. It was a warehouse back then.... but I digress. It's what I do.

yea- PVP in destiny basically blows.
What will be interesting- is how bungie utilizes the beta data they've amassed. If PVP is greatly improved for release then we know we have a winner.
If not- PVE it is. I am cool with that. A cool star wars like story to share with friends is a-ok by me.

Yep. I've been using the phone app to track the weapons vendor in the tower. He'll normally have between 1 and 2 green items for random weapons/levels. Picked up level 8 green scout rifle, hand cannon and fusion rifle from him over a couple of sessions. Still waiting for a sniper rifle to show up.
The same goes for your class vendor and armor, though I've been concentrating on weapons.
