No particular comments on the scout changes (Min scout is safe, so I'm happy), but I'm concerned about the medium balance. Logi's still have one extra module slot over assaults (+3 equipment). Looking at the current numbers, the Min Logi would be able to bridge a 150 EHP gap over the Min Assault (1 extra low), while maintaining the same versatility in fitting, with additional equipment and EWAR. And, unless there's a significant change in basde stats, with much greater ability to fit. The only place it loses out is the side arm, which really isn't that much of a loss. Toss an ACR on the Logi and you don't need a sidearm.
Seems to be leaving the door open for slayer logi's to make a resurgance.

I can absolutely run 400m in 50seconds give or take. I said I was hoping by end of summer to do a mile. but yea you are right that would be nuts as my speed would drop off from 8 m/s. However- I've run 6 minute miles before. I am a fast and lean mofo You know those peoples who run along paths? I make it my mission to outrun all of them. But even so- I'd be hella wiped afterwards.

All these talks about 40 times!
I played American Football in highschool. Fastest 40 time I got was 4.6 second 40.
Unfortunately, I can't sustain. My 100's were always around the upper 11's.
I was 6th fastest on my team. Too bad I couldn't tackle to save my life, and I had feet for hands. I could run the ball though.

The sprint speeds in DUST seem really slow, especially when kincats/biotics are essentially drugs that only clones can use because after they wear off you'd be dead anyway. But the really huge issue here is scale. The reason we don't feel like we're moving fast is because our clones are like 2.5 meters tall and ever step a clone takes is 1m. I really hope in Legion the character models aren't 150% the size they should be.

In the summer during my highschool years we always got my friend's older sister to buy us fireworks from Wisconsin. There were some really stupid things we did, like lighting off a mortar inside a car, through the sun roof, at a friend's car or dropping off firecrackers outside people's houses and driving away. but the best stuff was always lit at a public park or a golf course. Having the cops chase us for trespassing and using fireworks was always fun. lol I was wearing sandles one night when we got caught. We all all tried to run, we made it to a fence and I thought a bunch of us made it over but the next day I found out I was the only one not to get caught. Jeez Appia! Was it that one hill in wisconsin? The ice hill ?
Over in Tahoe I wiped out so hard I broke the tail of my snowboard.. That takes an extreme amount of force. Basically this student skier panicked after I yelled on your right.. so wtf does the dude do? go right. I slipped between him and a tree but brushed his shoulder... enough to spin the **** out of me. I flipped and slammed the tail down- CRACK.. skidded god knows how long before popping back up and immediately asking the guy if he was okay. I felt responsible because he had right of way and I was cooking. But really- they should have had him on a green run the way he was.

Scale is kind of a tricky thing in 3D programming... but it shouldn't be that out of wack. Dang. How the heck did they.. shrug. oh well.

haha.. we used to shoot roman candles at each other.. as well as bottle rockets. all the time. how dumb is that? no one ever got hurt so no one ever learned their lesson What happened to you? Climbing chain link fences basically barefoot is a no go
For those who don't know- growing up in chicago equates to being a criminal in training. One halloween we all put on face paint, wore the same outfits, set up shop in a new building under construction and proceeded to nail every single car that went by on a busy street with eggs. In advance we had moved dumpsters to block every alley along the way to the next busy street. So when the cops finally came we all took off.. about 30 of us.. ran between yards and through alleys.. the cops didn't catch one person because of our road blocks.
I am afraid to have children. I don't think I could handle a teenage me. and for the record- I am mortified I was like that as a kid. WTF.

Scouts are all hooligans it seems! LOL!!
I never had to evade the cops, I guess I never got into too much trouble as a teen. Just the usual bb-gun, rock or apple fights and running around new homes under construction.
As a post-college "adult" though things could have gone way worse. But they didn't.
Best memory from that era: Lighting a cigarette off of a glowing hot brake rotor, leaning against the warm hood of a fast car and watching street luge pilots fly by under a full moon at 2am on a Wednesday night. Then smiling at my buds as we hear a crackle over the walkie that those dudes are done and it's our turn to run the mountain.

The Green Mile, also a bit different, amazing.
I can see how you would think the Dark Tower Series got a little weird, but a lot of his stuff has weird elements. I mean, the clown in IT is just plain freaky. And I am not normally scared of clowns.
I pretty much love all his books, so I will stop my list here.

I really liked the mist (the movie was okay- the book was far different) and the tommyknockers was probably the best thing he ever wrote IMO. Eyes of the Dragon was way cool.. his Game of Thrones if you will. I used to like the gunslinger but it got way too .. off track weird. Never finished it. Yeah, the dark tower series was awesome up until about book 5, when he almost died in a car crash (IRL) and wrote himself and the accident into the book. It started to get quite weird from there. The last book was good, except for one part of the ending which was just...I think he must have got a hollywood hack in to write that bit for him. Terrible.
Needful things is another good one...once again, up until the end.
