That'd be civil, but its not gonna happen. Brawls are the norm here; words are seldom minced and punches seldom pulled. If a regular thinks you're wrong, he'll call you out. If you don't take kindly to being called out, try harder to not be wrong :)

Summing up our behavior quite well.

Here's a bit of wisdom from a friend.

"Don't yell and get mad when someone says you're wrong. If you don't like what they are saying, improve your argument."

The barbershop is not a place for people with thin skin. We routinely call people out on things we think are stupid, and spend that time debating and improving our own arguments.

Over time, since we have so many different viewpoints and arguments, we generally can boil down to a group consensus on things that we know are the best for scouts.

How do we know that they are the best?

Because we've argued about it for about a week and found that most people agree with certain aspects of a change.

This thread does nothing but get better with time. Hence why Rattati came here to discuss scout buffs. Because we have been arguing and debating about scout playstyles and buffs for over a year.

We have put far more thought and effort into this than anything else on the forums. His stopping here first was a very smart move.

If you nerf the non-tank modules, you end up with more brick tanking because it's not worth fitting otherwise. Range amps are in a good place because they have a noticeable effect and can be worth seriously using.

There was a discussion taking place, and they didn't even bother sticking to it. Just spout what they think the problem is.

I always say they are welcome if they want to interact with the community and be part of it, but you don't show up at someone's house simply because of the guest that stopped by, and then completely ignore the home owner and speak only to the guest. It is disrespectful.

Varoth Drac, I don't know you very well so I'm not sure if you know me. But Scoutly play in PC, number crunching, and figuring out the most effective fits is kinda my thing. You're Amarr and Caldari hypothetical builds, neither of them are the most effective way of playing those suits
