Now I know those weren't the best opponents, but still. I don't know why I can't do that well in pubs lol. I just don't know why.

Also by the way, in my personal opinion, scouts are kinda OP lol. Although I don't know if that's my biased opinion since most of my deaths in pubs is due to damn scouts not showing up on my radar Evil

I've been saying this everywhere - there is a delay if you manually deactivate; if that animation plays any time you switched out to weapon I'd say that is balanced, and doesn't require specifically adding in new delay timers or anything. And yes, I said before patch dropped - people would QQ over scout surprise attacks in game before 1.8, now with scout buffs and cloaks they feel safer taking that QQ to forums. Also, am I the only one perfectly comfortable with STD cloak? On that note - cloak timer glitches, my ADV cloak acts like it has STD timer when I switch suits or something (part of the reason I avoid them...). At the vey least my cloak keeps deactivating when I clearly have time left. Somebody had probably mentioned it already - I hope. The Ghost of Bravo

Secondly, I'm thinking of running it with MD and magsec, using the cloak to get in position and blasting the fools. MD is all about position and knowing where the enemy is, cal scout seems perfect for that. Cloak lets me get in position unhindered too :D. Thoughts? As for the survivors they just get shredded by the magsec (I haven't actually tried it yet due to extremely limited playtime). Thoughts? Sounds like a Scout Hunter. I like it :-)

Starter scouts are already paper thin, can't dampen to achieve passive invisibility from other scouts, and can't make effective use of EWAR/biotics modules. It's already hard mode. Knowledge is power

[5] [1] No surprise here [2] Yeah. too many cloaks/damps to rely on Cal-Scout or Gal-Scout passive. Especially in PC. Worthless. Even in pubs it's not reliable anymore. Took me about 10-15 matches to get used to it. Like running a Minmatar Scout, only you hurt on the inside because you're supposed to have good passive scans. [3] I hate this so much. So many people flocked to the scout and cloak from the blue waffle. Went up against ERA, half TeamPlayers. Good news: 1v1 I own heavies and shotgun scouts. Bad news: after being killed 3 times in a row, most people swap out from shotgun to combat rifle, because it is still a better CQC weapon than the shotgun Cal-Scout with 4 pecision enhancers was just getting was just getting popped from behind by a scout too many times. Min-Scout was awesome in PC. Nova Knife kills in PC . Cloaked Gal-Scout is amazing on Defense. Before, I used my passive scans and hid out of sight. Now you hide out in the open and shoot them as they pass. Fewer speed hackers get past [4] I don't find Scouts OP at all. I find the Caldari lacking, I find that the disparity between Precision Enhancers and Profile Dampers has become greater because a Scout's Precision and Profile are no longer equal. And what was insanely difficult to overcome last build, 15dB profile, is far easier accomplished now with cloaks. Finally, you can't just see a sentinel, laugh, and kill them 1v1 from withing their optimal range. The Commandos are no longer just something to laugh at either. The lack of stacking damage mods really made them awesome. 1v1, I just sit there and take their bullets as I dish out more damage then they can while having more HP. I also die to more scouts now than ever before, lightning xvx actually killed me for the first time ever... though it was in a Caldari suit instead of the minmatar one I was used to facing. At the same time, I am getting so many kills on cloaked scouts. It is glorious. [5] I agree. Especially with the hotfix to hardeners.
