I had a similar conversation with my CR, although the break up was much shorter. I realized that the CR is the logical choice, so we are in a relationship for business reasons. It understood that my love still lies with the ScR, and that I will at often be spending time with it instead. I didn't ask what the CR does in its free time, that is no longer any of my concern. My SR is still bitter though. Looking for the scout hangout?

I'm pretty pleased with the cloak. Yea, it was pre nerfed, but they at least balanced it enough to keep it tactically viable. IMHO, using it with knives isn't a good combo so far. I keep knives to my speed tank fit. However, cloaking and shotgunning are a great combo. Thankfully, I haven't run into any hit detection issues. I think the magsec is very jittery, however. It's very choppy on full auto, and I mean that in a SFX/animation not dealing damage while it stutters kind of way. Other than that- the magsec is suprisingly good for ranged conflict if you use ADS and fir ein quick bursts. You gotta hustle if you wanna make a dolla

I try the jump slash, but, being the slowest Scout, it doesn't work that well. And really, if you aren't using a minja, best stick with protos so you don't have to try to get two sets of slashes in. Its hard to get multiple slashes in, especially on tanked heavies. Try advanced, they're better. You'll still need a charged hit for mediums, but you will mess up any non-tanked scout with a normal strike. Standard knife - 90 double slash - 180 charged slash - 450 Advanced knife - 150 double slash - 300 charged slash - 750 Proto knife - 200 double slash - 400 charged slash - 1000 Knowledge is power

Actually, I got level 1 in Nova Knives a LONG time ago. Never could really use them until now. Also, I don't think there were any registered Scouts there to babysit me...

I think so far the bugs are the worst part, its hard to get a handle on how 1.8 will turn out as so many things aren't working quite right. Looking for the scout hangout?
