Edit: Community talk about making scouts sole users of cloaking I like, and makes lots of sense. Can't help but suspect all suits using cloaking would be an abomination.
Also some major stealth buff would be nice. |

I agree with Decasor; they probably don't know what to do with us right now because they're still working out mechanical issues. Seems we have few options other than to sit and wait.
The FP & Contact Nade nerfs will help us out indirectly.
We know that CCP can dispense Dev love or hate by Hotfix. Tanks and Heavies were buffed via Hotfix in 1.0, and the Tac AR was nerfed via Hotfix in 1.1. Shotty. Not totally new but certainly no vet and only around 4 mil sp. Lately though I have been almost back to pre 1.2 days and going positive some as well as cracking 1000 wp somewhat frequently. But it's taken alot to get used to. And still cqc as you know fails alot. Got a proud moment shotgun to the head followed by a mel+Že kill last game on a heavy though Lol ;) |

If you read the suit description it alludes to scouts having suit membranes that make them tougher to see. I'd like to see scouts requiring a longer LOS targeting before appearing on tacnet and/or, once on tacnet, immediate removal once LOS is broken...all relative to dampening skills/mods, of course.
That idea aside, with explosives nerf (im ok with MD as-is), strafing fix, collision/hitbox fix, and shotgun hit detection fix i think that pseudo could be a very happy scout.
If you want to let a scout dream, i'd LOVE to have the ability to scale walls (electromagnetic climbing gear) and cling to ledges. Want to fly a dropship to the roof to snipe? Fine. That click you hear on the back of your helmet 20 seconds later will be me prebagging you. Climbing equipment efficiency could be inverse-exponentially related to suit mass and weight reduction mods.
Think about the potential for nova knife drop-ambush, stealth uplink dropping, enemy spotting, and nest sniping. *drool* |

Finally got an adv min, been using dragonfly for a while , now idk what i should put on the 2nd high powered slot so sticking with mlt shield recharger for now, my downside is im at the under 300k-4m isk club, too poor to get much of anything...
BTW. is it just me or the neo suits that were being sold are immune to nova knives sometimes >_< lately, I hit some of the camo looking ones and I see the spark, and hear the hit sound, when I hit them I dont see any changes on their health bar, and they are not even heavies. You can tell if you hit someone with the knives and miss: the sound will be different vs if you hit and actually did some dmg even if you just hit with one of the knives |

I'd love to be included in the list, but to be honest, I go only about a little less than 50% Scout. The rest is mostly Minimatar Logi though. But I feel the plight of the scout! It resonates!

I feel sad for the scout community, we are not asking for much, just to be effective in combat. I know for a fact that I will drop people's KDR, once we are effective, I know you do too. We are already combat ready, we know how to think, enemies are just getting so lucky right now. I agree that we should be the sole users of the cloaking equipment. The description for the scout dropsuit is not correct at the moment. Sniping is more on who can tank more armor than who has the better rifle. I'm a bit angry that we have to wait more! off topic: When you get revived, it shouldn't count as a kil/death. |

Strafing changes would be welcome. I'm glad to hear they are considered bugged, because experience certainly indicates that is the way of it. Using a shotty scout against an aware enemy is currently, frustrating to put i mildly. That should definitely help matters. The current combination of bunnyhopping and ridiculous strafe speed are not helping in close quarters. |

After multiple tweakings, using that reactive plate is a great alternative. I've used it a bit and so far its good. it gives me 300 permanent HP on my adv suit. The only downside is that i cant use it with a meta 5 weapon.
edit: omg i can, this is perfect with 209/209 CPU and 50/50 PG |

As for what can/can't be hotfixed, this is a murky point.
They /apparently/ have the ability to hotfix in balancing changes to almost every stat but range with very short notice. We've never got a solid answer on why they let things fester for so long if that's the case, though. We're at a stage where trying to figure out what they can/can't do with their tech is something we're trying to get answers on so we can better direct feedback, but we're encountering resistance for whatever reason on a lot of stuff.
When I've got something solid about the state of scouts, I'll seek permission to share it ASAP.
