 Oh I def think tanks have a pretty easy time of killing infantry. But I don't think av needs a buff. Agree on kroms ideas. But perhaps it's too complex?
 
 Quill, why are all the "pro" tankers up in arms that tanks are the new ez mode then? That any new guy can use them with little sp and still do just as well?
 The extra mod slot really only allows you a little extra room to make a mistake.
 
 It's similar to running basic vs adv gear. The gap is small. I usually do just as well running basic as I do running adv gear.
 
 I fear for proto tanks......

 I tell you though, I ran into a REALLY good tanker today.
 I had a rail gun , with an active damage mod... I landed must have been 7 direct hits on him.. and he survived.
 barely :D
 
 However, the same could not be said for me.
 tried it a couple times.
 
 
 So, in summary...my tank would have blown away any generic soma or sica, I'm guessing. But he was a pro gunlogi driver
 (or madrugar, I forget. same diff)
 
 ANd for the record: no it makes a HUGe diff.
 
 consider, without it, you can only pick TWO, of
 
 shield extender
 shield ..erm.. regen thingie
 shield hardener.
 
 Now consider what a tank is like with all THREE.
 It's like you've doubled the HP of your tank, at least for 20 seconds.
 Almost tripled.
 
 In my future tank/tank battles, if I'm using gunlogi again, I think I'll go for my old triple-buff way, not the suggested "pour on damage mods" way.

 With respect, I disagree. If things must remain as is, then (1) tank cost should be raised and (2) SP refunded for AV-oriented skills. If (1) and (2) are non-options, then AV should be restored to an effective state.
 
 As to why, I agree with Llast's statement:
 I do not think that any one aspect of the game should be "only X should be able to killGǪX, please ignore that X can also kill ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWYand Z as well"

 I see some ppl have problems staying with positive wallet, so here some scout tips from Keeriam
  : Dust payout mechanics seems including dmg efficiency with weapon you using in battle, by that i mean it's headshot multiplier & overkill dmg. Headshot overkills more preferable, regular overkill like RE, nade kill, body shots etc not affecting that much.
 
 1 - Destroying dropsuit will give you something about 20% of it's fitting cost (tasty proto FGners
  ). 2 - When you kill someone, make sure you terminated clone (killing is not enough). There seems to be extra payout for destroying clone (even if not you killed him).
 3 - Kill assists give's you extra payout as well. So help to kill literaly EVERYTHING (tho there is no more kill assists in 1.7 for vehicles with light weapons). But if you hit driver or passanger on LAV or DS you will get kill assist.
 4 - Destroy every equipment you see & can reach.
 
 So, target more expensive suits, overkill it with headshot (as much as possible), kill assists (especialy for instalations), clone termination.
 Even if you will be the last on leaderboard endmatch screen (by kills & WPs), your payout can be alot more than 1-st place badass dude (tested, comfirmed in squad play, even with HAV drivers). Like this (old foto, i'll make new one if someone need proof with more stats) - that was ambush mode, i sniped (headshoted) 8 proto FGners, only 8 kills...

 * Suit A - Logi w/Republic REs + Republic F/45 REs
 * Suit B - Logi w/REs + F/45 REs
 
 1) Spawn in Suit A near Supply Depot.
 2) Call in LAV. Place 6 Republic REs.
 3) Switch to Suit B. Place 6 Regular REs.
 4) Smite Tank. It works! (tested and confirmed)

 I do believe fluxes don't "disarm" REs but actually causes them to explode. This trick is actually what got me kicked from FW last week. :D

 This means you can have another weapon in hand and ready to deal more damage if needed. (I like to finish with a flay lock when appropriateGǪ just wish i could see their faces on the kill screen)
 Now that EQ destruction does not cause kick, FF benefits expedience in killing HAVs.

 I actually tried the RE+Flux combo after watching a video of a guy in battlefield throw 3 slams on a tank and using a contact grenade to detonate them/injure the tank. Pretty fun wombo combo.

 1.5/1.6 changed it. Flux used to just deactivate/destroy them. Now they set them off. when this change was made it took me like 3/4 matches to catch on.

 The one annoying thing, is actually having to HIT the tank, with the flux, though.
 The ones I usually attempt to take down, move around a LOT.
 Just placing 3 REs on target is pretty durn challenging.
 Actually hitting it with flux, without the auto-homing of the AV grenades, sounds challenging, to say the least.
 
 Side comment:
 
 Do you get a penalty if you blow up your own REs with weapon fire if, for example, you attempted to place on a tank, but miss?

I don't find hitting with the flux to be to challenging, as long as they are bolting directly away from meGǪ at that point I just wait them out and stalk them down. The REs are not going anywhere (unless they recall), and many HAV pilots don't actually run that far unless they are already damaged.
 Cooking and tossing takes a bit of practice, Flux radius is actually pretty large so it's easier than regular Nades.
 You can practice by taking out equipment with timed tosses rather than drop and forget.
 
 And as Shotty mentioned, the rules have changed, no penalty for EQ destruction.
