I just had a scenario where having Prof 5 Knives over Prof 4 would have made all the difference. I was cloaked and this Proto Cal Sent runs straight into me. There was nowhere to run, so I had to engage. I ran past him so he couldn't shoot me whilst the cloak dropped, and I started slashing him when I turned around. He sprayed me down with his SMG with, I kid you not, 1 armour remaining. 
Finally I have a valid reason to take a weapon to Prof 5.

I am seriously digging the aspect of cultivating a merc army, it's assets, and then going out into the sandbox field and wrecking ****. The graphics on the PS4 are phenomenal. I'm at 7% and I feel lie I went through a war already.. so fun.

I think I'm going crazy. I saw a post by General John Ripper on his main, looked at the likes, saw they were exactly the same. Like a post made by IJR, went back to GJR's post and behold. Not crazy. See he originally was General John Ripper. Then as a troll he biomassed. Once that was done he set about restoring his account, but the problem was that when his account was out someone else took his name. So he was forced to restore it under a new name, Immortal John Ripper.
And my guess is the forums don't handle having two names all that well.

It used to be that I could go see all the players in the 'team' area (or whatever it's called), see who is squadded and hop into unlocked squads. Now I can't seem to figure out how to do this.
This was an awesome way to meet new people when soloing and be part of a team - I used to do it all the time!! Now if I use squad finder most of the time I get into a squad that isn't deploying.
So, I just run solo mostly now unless I have any luck LFS'ing.....

This drives me nuts too. The worst part is I was looking forward to the so called performance improvements and then they pulled that ****... gg CCP gg... You got us all.
The best part? Zero performance improvements from it and they refuse to even discuss removing the **** 'fix' they did...

Yeah, game is excellent, well worth the wait. I'm only at 3% myself, been sidetracked just riding around Afghanistan and enjoying the beauty that is MG5s visual/mechanical polish. And kidnapping High Skill Soldiers and assets for MB/side missions XD
I'm still finding it hilariously funny to ride up to an outpost hanging off the saddle, flooding the area with smoke grenades then dismounting and sprinting through the smoke using the Million-Dollar-Man knockout punch on bots busy coughing. Game is surreal in its ability to please.

When they made this change was right about the time I realized that this game was being developed into the ground and left. That was really the final straw.
I can;t suffer idiotic game development to that level of incompetence and lack of understanding one's OWN product.
I was like ah well. Game is dead. shrug. Good riddance.

So I think this game is finally pay to win.
I know many argued about certain items you could buy etc... but I never really considered it pay to win until this stupid warbarge damage bonus factory. I hated it when they announced it and I still do.
Apparently you can get it to level 8 now which means 9% bonus to damage. It's impossible to get to this level without buying components for aurum. This damage bonus has a large direct impact on TTK in game and directly makes one player stats wise better. Another dark day in Dust. |
