Does anyone here have skills into the amarr scout? I might actually spend $40 on a respec and make a legitimate video about it. It doesn't seem that useful for anything but scans!
Gets shredded 1v1, slow and has no dampening bonus. The only thing i see it useful for....i don't know.
Glass cannon that scans 24/7?
edit: made a real min assault fit, boundless CR that deals 986 DPS, runs at 9 meters/second with 700eHp.
keen to try it when i respec. Will i still be a FoTM chaser?

We've talked about it with Cross extensively, CCP is aware that the amarr scout bonus might need a tweak. They're going to fix logis and commandos first, but even scouts and assaults are up for a role bonus tweak specifically because of suits like the Amarr scout.
TLDR, don't put money into it just to make a video, they know about it.

I spent aurum to open 50 boxes and got garbage.

Got online and played a few games tonight.
Somehow managed to be on the winning side every game, though it wasn't without its frustrations.
I will be happy when some of the FotM are fixed.
Did have an awesome moment where some dude was on a tank overlooking our objective with an AScR, and I was hiding behind the supply depot. After chasing away a tank, I pulled out my PLC Scout and managed to direct hit the dude while we were both quasi moving.

Also, does anyone know if the cost of calming experimental weapons increases as you upgrade it? i stopped collecting mine XD i wanna get the components up now. i stopped upgrading it after i saw 25k and went got got the weapons unlocked... but yeah it'll be about 50/100k for sure. and it would increase. because as you upgrade the weapon facility you produce more per day thus increasing the amount required each day... its honestly the one thing i wish i never upgraded.. i wish i got the isk one instead :( cant claim them or i lose all my savings XD

Llast is right team and squad are focked atm but it is still possible to invite players in-match to your squad by going to the player list

So standard 'medium' grenades would probably be the gamut of what we currently have (and it might include a core locus grenade nerf as that thing is unbelievably stupid). These grenades would go to the assault and basic medium frame... and maaaaybe to scout.
Light grenades would probably be more 'support' oriented and for an example a 'light' flux grenade would have the same explosion size but half the damage. These would go to logistics and maybe commando's and would probably be oriented towards destroying equipment - not people.
Heavy grenades would be sentinel only pure nasties and could include heavy av grenades (think wiyrkomi breach forge gun round in your pocket) or heavy contact grenades (700 damage on direct hit?). They'd probably be limited to one or two of them and they shouldn't exactly be easy to use.

sniper with stacked damage mods speed a lil bit of tank maybe rather than speed and a bunch of repping and ammo nanohive and/or hybrid nanos... or what i just thought of. get nanos and a focused scanner if close enough and scan to highlight targets to snipe :P cal has scan buff right...

I had forgotten how the progression worked and just assumed it increased exponentially like with skills, but that makes much more sense, especially since upgrading costs around 26k.
So if it costs 53,000, and the upgrade would net me 100 more components a day, it would take 530 days of collecting before I "paid off" the components spent on the upgrade... I think I'm gonna go ahead and pass on that one.
