If you still didn't read it, its an interview from polygon. I actually think those numbers are within accurate ranges. The unstated 'bite' there however, or "the other shoe" is that of NPE quality and player retention. I do not have specific numbers but it is my understanding that player retention within the 1-3 day metric is, shall we say, less than ideal. Think of it like a banker, he can accurately state that he has his hands on thousands of dollars every single day... but how much of that he gets to keep by days end is a very different prospect. (As is reflected in the case of Dust by sustained player trends, most of that baseline are the minority that make it through the initial period and become invested in the game.) 0.02 ISK

Saw it! It's even better than I expected. A lot of bonus stuff, and free aurum! That should help people get up to level 4 loyalty. It's a performance patch with some nice little perks (and trading!!!) thrown in, not much more you can ask for.

I'm with you on this one - others have said they've had hundreds of mail sitting there and it doesn't always lag. Confirmation bias perhaps? Some maps lag harder than others....do mercs send mail more often for these specific maps? Do mercs see the Gal Lag facility and think to themselves, "Hmm lemme just email my mate to tell him I hate this map"?
Nah, I stick to my prediction that it is related to sound, based on the tiniest of stutters I sometimes notice when an audio sound begins. It's like, the Gal Lag facility creates a feedback loop or some craziness because of all the tunnels...and where you gonna drop that orbital huh? |

I bet it won't work, I've deleted all my mails and contacts and it still lags in certain areas/players/maps/matches.
As for the idea of sound - I think you're onto something here, anyone recalls the topic where people tested PC matches with / withouth voice/sounds/eq spam etc.?

Well, I think i'm putting away my Min Scout fit for now. I'll still run a sprint NK fit at the start but I find the fits are just to expensive and die to easily, even running advanced.
Time to go back to my roots.
