Take that out and you'll find me in logi suits placing uplinks in key locations so I can quickly jump back to my fatty and fight where I'm most effective. If you find me without my car - you better keep distance. Even in mid-range combat I mostly come out the victor with my HMG, which many heavies have declared me a hacker over. I've never met a scout since Sleepy Zan in chrome whose been able to take me 1v1 without some kind of help. So it'll be fun for me to see you nutrient starved scouts trying to down me. But I do have bad games - I can't do anything about terrible blue berries. all heavies are tough to crack, but not impossible. *shink shink Problem I see is most scouts want to get in close... and that's what I want them to do too. Lol

Because they want people who will be glad to do everything they can to help the assaults kill.
If they had it their way, Logi's would be only able to use nanites, repair tools and Nanohives, Heavies would only be able to stand there and get show at and us scouts would only be able to let them know where the enemy is. |

Nah, the way I see it scouts could use a little boost to CPU/PG mostly for easing fitting, i think slot layouts could be better just for diversifying fittings. If this game only had one standard way to play each frame i doubt i would play it.
Overall a lot of the problems don't really have to do with the scout suits. The way the player base in the overall game is moving. Mass stacking in order to "compete" in the damage/ehp of combat has created a deadly environment for lower ehp (light frames) or lower maneuverability (heavy frames). Some of the issues with how weapons are working, or not working.
I don't know just some of my thoughts. Also if I was as beastly as you I'd feel the same way |

Only reminders to CCP. It's exciting to think what we might become if/when necessary buffs are implemented.
Make no mistake ... Scouts are still severely disadvantaged and AR-514 wants to keep it that way.

I've been running the KR-17 Breach for four days. It is hitting what I shoot at around 75% of the time. The Breach packs a punch but rarely OHKs anything other than a Basic Frame (or Scout). So a reliable, high-DPS sidearm is required. I recommend an Assault SMG. |

I guess it's a start. I read on some Dev post that they often will leave certain threads alone if they feel the thread is being relatively constructive and the community is going in a good direction. Maybe that is why we rarely see a Dev tag on scout threads. It must be because we are so awesome. Also because we have some of the most objective forum posters in the game, in my opinion at least. |
