Seeing as how I've been getting into a few matches, what advice can you guys give me about Planetary Conquest?
Any tips/tricks I should know?
The ones I've been in so far were no more difficult than Pubs
I am part shovel, part man, full scout, and a little bit special.

This has been what I have heard and seen through observation:
Make sure that you make all the forums know that you run PC.
Always remember to stroke your ePeen.
Remember you are now far superior to the rest of the pub only rabble.

when you're in fa I doubt you'll be in many difficult pc's although you can usually count on vengeance and glitch 'em quick putting up a good fight. I can't really give you any advice other than listen to your fc without knowing what suit/weapon you're running.

Kill everyone
Capture all objectives.
Also: Don't forget to turn out the lights in the warbarge before leaving.

Mine was a running joke from BF3. That was our "general battle plan" because you can't lose if you do it 
In all reality: Do what's closest. If you're at the middle one and its safe to take (Empty or 1-2 people) Take it and hold it for as long as you can.
Hopefully, enemies will be pulled from the contested one and converge on your point. If they don't you get a free point. It's a win-win IF you can take the point (Since if they pull people back, your team should be able to take the contested point. At the end, it's 2-1 in your favor. You also stall them on MCC damage, since after it flips, you will still be doing damage until they hack it back)
This is why scouts have some of the toughest jobs in PC. You WILL be told to solo an objective if things get hairy. I earned my place on PC teams by being very good at soloing enemy homepoint, even in 1v2's.
The only thing that would force me off is one guy who literally sits and watches the point and one guy floating. If I see that, I lay down a link on the outside and request assistance.

Alright, cheers.
Here's what went down, we had a bridge map, we were on Alpha (held by us) on the bridge, delta was contested, echo was ours.
We were on Alpha when they hit Delta, I heard someone say stay on Alpha, another said they need help on Delta and a third mentioned something about the enemy hitting Echo. My squad double timed to Delta so I followed suit, hanging back a little 'cause I had a Rail Rifle. About half way there I realised "Oh ****, there's only one ally on Alpha and he's a forger"
By the time I turned around the hack was completed and flashing, couldn't make any headway so I dropped a link down.
We ended up losing the match very narrowly, I think too many people bailed off Alpha.

Here's a some good advice:
If running on the outside points, AR is your friend. Still often, I run into cal-scouts playing on the outside and the AR is just great against them while it can also sorta, almost, kinda hold its own against armor tankers.
Nova Knives are your friend. Having the alpha damage and range weapon are very useful.
RE's are necessary.
Learn the ways of the Venus Flytrap. People will see your RE and try and shoot it or flux it from a bit away. Line up your remotes so that they chain off each other too kill your opponent.***
If you're on the inside: use Gallente Scout. 2x damps, 2xcomplex plates. forget the speed penalty, you should be in need of caution rather than strafe speed (as strafing is the only real part of movement ttrait hat matters)
When experience heavy sentinel encampment, Allotek PLC is lulzy.
Always expect people to see you while cloaked. Don't depend on it for visual camouflage. KDR is more important than you want to admit. Going 1:1 means you should replace yourself with someone better. Scouts kill things, be it defending a point or taking one.
*** Protip: if there's a supply depot nearby you can use proximities on the point to distract the enemy. Proxi doesn't stick so it's obvious to see, makes a beautiful scene when someone fluxes a point from 10/15/20m away and end up killing themselves as well as makes a good early warning system.

If memory serves, decloak-fire delay is being increased from ~0 seconds to 2 seconds tomorrow. Kinda hoping Scouts end up underpowered. If not with tomorrow's change, then perhaps after the EWAR shakeup. This way, Rattati might be more inclined to tackle backpedal speed ... and with a clear conscience :-) |

Personally, I find these names fitting for Scouts and Scoundrels.

Edit: Decloak-fire delay doesn't appear to have changed; thinking the balance re-hotfix didn't make it out today.
Interesting.... first BPO's are game breaking. Then they are re-released to make Aur (assumably) and now we have an interestingly flavored prototype versions.... that you don't need to spend Aur on?
