Don't know about Gamestop, but Game (when it was here) and Amazon ship it before release to get it to you on release. Amazon doesn't deliver straight to you over there?

As to where to find heavies an assaults, I am not too certain.
You could always hook up with Dust University. They are a great resource for new players, and they are not frame or suit exclusive, so you could find a variety maybe.
I don't know what their chat channel is off hand.
